The Pebble was a generation ahead of what the minimum for a smart watch should be. This is too much. Week+ battery. Tactile buttons because it was a watch first and could be used with gloves. Music controls. Changeable watch faces and simply UI elements. Always on, very visible in daylight display with backlight button. Plenty of community support, even to this day there is a small community. I just want the Pebble version of a smartwatch again. The Indie versions aren't meeting those minimum expectations after nearly a decade.

Get a Xiaomi S1 Active, way better looking, better materials, more functions, also metal frame, build in GPS and you can buy one for under 80€

so no NFC and no NFC pay support so not a basic smartwatch, just a dumb watch.

i use a skagen denmark hybrid jorn. It is discontinued but i think you can used ones for the same money. I dont like how reliant the cmf watch is on the smartphone. I think you are paying for the design with it and thats fine. I feel you can get better

Could you make a video about where these Tech companies source materials for their batteries? They all know about it, they just don't want to do anything about it. They promote directly or indirectly a form of slavery, child labor, destroying the environment, pouring poison into rivers etc.
