Thanks. I downloaded the wrong BIOS file 😆. My motherboard was WiFi version but I downloaded the non-WiFi one and it didn't recognize the file.

I've ASRock B450 Steel Legend, but for some reason it was shipped with b450m bios, so it could only detect bios updates from b450m, lol

Nope that didnt help at all. Its impossible to update your BIOS on Asrock Motherboards because Asrock are shit.

why does it says the file type is "20 File" for you but for me its "00" i think thats why "no image is found"

Doesn't work for me.

When I click Instant Flash the BIOS shows up briefly and then disappears, then I get the no image detected error.

Yesterday I flashed the BIOS on a new build PC for a neighbour friend and it was the first Gigabyte board I had used for many years. Problems I had were unzipping the unusual file extension. It was an 11mb file but an error message about not using this type of file popped up (typical Windows Bill Gates message!) and despite downloading an advanced free unzipping program from the App store I was still left scratching my head. Problems solved (internet no help!) by tabbing across the fields and selecting (from memory, yesterday was a long time ago for a 69yr old!) the option to open any way and hey presto file opened and unzipped! Think Windows and Gigabyte were just trying to keep me on my toes. Sometimes the damned security in Windows 11 and messages and warnings just get in the way of actually doing something.

Free tip. Make sure you download the right bios. I had a B550M Pro4 and was trying to install the new Bios for the B550 Pro4! Thank goodness it didn't see the image file or I would have bricked my MB with the wrong BIOS file!

I have the no image file detected error and my drive is fat32. I got the right bios update file. I feel like you should have really discussed this issue not just use a trick with fat32.

Nope. X299 Taichi XE, trying to update from 1.30 to 1.90 Simply nope. No image file detected, 2GB USB stick.
What's worse Internet update also does not work "check your Network connection", yeah machine boots up DHCP gets an IP no problem.
