Hi, I have a laptop with windows 8.1 and its an i7 processor and have about 960gb space. Is the sony A7r iii or the sony a7r 4 good for this kind of laptop as I only shoot in raw only, will this slow down the laptop when viewing the pictures as one is about 43mp and the other is 60 something in file size?

I just don't see where a touch screen on the back of this camera would be worth the cost. I have this same screen on my RX10 and I think it works just fine.

This camera is perfect for Wildlife, especially birds. A 100% crop still comes with 27MP. I am blown away by the performance the A7R4 delivers. Ah, it made me now move to Sony from Canon.

R4 is amazing for wildlife , fast autofocus and crazy cropping abilities. Super clear EVF. Love it

61 MP a7RlV is not my requirement Would definitely wait for a7IV which might be a 36 MP full frame sensor. All features & Ergonomics of a7R lV packed into a7 lV body.

I wish Sony would listen to you and others. Touchscreen being high on the list. Maybe I'm totally wrong but I'd rather have a very low light sensor than 60 MP. I'm not a professional and this camera feels to be Prosumer.

You'd need to be rich to keep up with Sony's camera releases and you'd need to be smart to forget about the incremental but controlled "improvements" they were adding to a new version. Whatever they're doing can be summed up in two words: business and profit.

I think .fujiFilm has caused the creation of this camera with its G mount lineup. Obviously this Sony camera puts the Fuji G 50 under threat for those into amassing high MP images. I still think the Fuji with the larger sensor will give the better shot but the Sony is significantly smaller and cheaper and therefore more “consumer” oriented. The MP race has been quiet for many years but I think it is about to explode yet again because most of the digital colour and picture quality and facility issues have been well and truly conquered. I’m looking forward to the one shot 240 MP camera for about $2,000.

No worry, my 2X RTX 2080 Ti and I9 9900K will handle it just fine!
