My iPhone 13 Pro had 100% health for over a year. 15 months actually and I used my phone everyday. I used only an official charger and official apple cable. On the 15 months I had to use someone’s cheap phone usb charge brick and cable and the next day I was at 99% health.

Nobody have the time to apply all of this just to baby out the battery. Just don’t discharge it below 20% and you’re set.

Batteries age with time so it's not possible to keep it at 100% all the time.

All these clowns saying I used for 1 year and I am still at 100%. Your battery health meter just isn’t working. Its a common bug in iOS. Once it re calibrates your health will drop super quick. Batteries degrade with use. Stop worrying about them and get them replaced.

All phone manufacturers must put more than the batter of a phone when they say it is 5000 mAh battery but it is actually 5300 mAh battery so the phone will only fully charge at 5000mah battery not fully 5300mah battery so the health of battery will stay more. Still on phone we see it fully charge but actually not

I have had my 14pro for more than a year (since september last year) and it's still on 100%. Always charging with a 10W original charger from 20 to 80 aprox. Never more than 90% or less than 20/19%.

I always thought ALL wireless charging (including MagSafe) shortens the battery health span faster. But you let me know otherwise. Thanks for the info. I feel a little bit better about MagSafe charging now.

Lool, use fast chargers but very quality. I used baseus wall charger 100w during a year and got 99% after upgrading to 17.0. I used 14 pro max before the new phone. Don’t listen myths about fast chargers, just try to find info about which one is the best and has high-quality energy output and use quality cables and everything will be fine. And the last advice: charge your phone from 20% to 80% this is the best time to charge your 🔋

Good luck 👍 ❤

But maybe it is a bug :D

Good thing iOS 17.1 has a way to see the cycles now. Go to General>About and scroll to the bottom to Battery, Cycle Count. The iPhone battery is good for about 500 cycles before needing to be replaced.

I also use wireless charging overnight. My 14 pro is now at 87% health and I plan on getting it changed in September of the year when the iPhone 17 releases, and to switch my 14 Pro for the 20 pro, or XX pro, or xXx however they call it

One should know that the original factory battery is always more than >100%. But it will only shows as 100% as the maximum. If your has around 120%, it will take a considerate amount of time to drop from 100% to 99% to show in the phone. But once it dropped to 99%, 99% to 98, 97% will be quite fast.

I got my iPhone 14 Pro Max on launch day. My battery health is still 100%. I never charge with a. MagSafe since it makes too much heat, I only use a wire. Second I charge the phone with the screen facing down so the battery can stay cool (my phone is in case). Finally, I charge at 20% and only go up to 80%. I only charge to 100% like once every couple weeks. Currently at IOS 7.03.

I have optimised charging off, I fast charge using the cable included in the box, and an apple or samsung 35watt brick depending on the place im charging at. I am just cautious about how heated my iphone gets. I stopped caring about the percentage my iphone reaches when charging I just unplug it when I feel it's starting to get warm. iphone 14 pro, 11 months of usage.

I use my 14Pro for a year now and my capacity is at 97%. I drained my battery to 0 only a few times and charged it up to 100 only a few times. So most of the time it was between 20 and 80%.
I am still very disappointed by the fact, that it only has 97% capacity, so I think I will stop this battery-care-shit. 😂

I don’t know if my iphone was the odd case, but after exactly one year i still had 100% capacity on my iphone 14 pro max. I was very careful throughout the year, i charged it to 100% maybe once per week, never left it charging over night and never let battery drain under 20%. It definitely worked for me. I tried to sell the phone and people thought i had replaced the battery because they couldn’t believe the battery was still at full capacity 😅.
