How To Connect A Printer To A Computer With A USB Cable

Knowing the essentials in computers I bought a Chrome Os (I don't recommend this, if people don"t know about pcs or programs) Anyways I got my laptop and then I bought a printer canon So the manual was for the programs with window And if you don"t have window Get a cable USB, Believe me ha ha I feel proud because I didn't know anything about this! yeah but what about a wireless printer that you are not using wifi and are using ethernet? My HP 2725 All in one printer will not connect!!

You didn't mention either we have to install the driver or no need. You should also show the screen after plugging in. A no-brainer can tell how to connect the cable things comes after that....

B***** video just talking about USB ports not what I was looking for. I wanted a basic connection between my computer my monitor and my printer. I did not want to take a trip to the factory that makes USB plugins.

Quick question, is this the best method for the hardline setup or can an ethernet be used to connect the printer to the internet connect? My ethernet cable doesn't fit in my printer so I am trying other ways.
