Not anything else that can be said in praise of the great man, love this song and according to posters/comment's! This is a straight shooter if you like, as personal as it gets put into song and days gone down might also be in that department but that's his songs so love them, so talented a man who never thrived on notoriety just the music done the business, remember the proclaimers saying that he produced their work and really taught them a lesson on how recording/production actually worked.

Gerry’s sweet tone feels like a favourite pair of shoes or jacket. I’m 52 yrs old but first heard Gerry as a child due to my mums great taste in music. Used to look through her vinyl collection, loved the artwork for the City to City album. Loved Baker Street which mum would play on her aiwa stereo system way too loud for the neighbours liking. I really miss the days when people considered this to be great music 😢

This is a great song. The musicianship is great - the band are cooking. Gerry's no nonsense, matter of fact vocal delivery adds impact to the lyric. One of the very best.
