My wife and daughter have been in Chile since January 5th caring for my father in law whom is terminally ill , they have wanted to return several times but each time it looks like King Trudeau is going to lift the travel restrictions we are met with disappointment. So we have come to the conclusion that this is nothing more than a government sponsored terrorist cash grab a as a terrorist organization takes hostages for ransom , so has our government. We refuse to pay any terrorist ransom as it only emboldens them to do the same in the future. How hard it is for the average citizen to understand and utilize their own personal power. If the vast majority of people would just take off the mask, refuse to be covid tested, and refuse to comply with any other government mandates around covid, how silly and petty would these politicians look? Stand up and do the right thing. None of this will end till you do. Will it be uncomfortable? Likely. But what is the alternative? Do you want your children and grandchildren to grow up in a tyrannical police state? You can no longer wait for "someone else" to stand up. Why would anyone working or staying abroad want to return to Canada anyways? Vaccinations are months behind and there is permanent semi lockdown. If you have a job and no pressing commitments, stay in a country run by competent leadership that proactively stops covid. Seriously, its better to stay abroad at the moment unless one has to absolutely return. That and all those travel restrictions dont make it any easier.
