Changing the core account field on the positions view and the download able spreadsheet from the actual stock symbol to the SENTANCE "CASH HELD IN MUTAL FUNDS" seems deceptive. The associated column header symbol should contain a symbol NOT a sentence. All associated fields do not update either.

I have the cash management account you talk about with fidelity and checks to go with it and fidelity pays interest.

Strong advice : stay away from Fidelity Investments. If you want to enjoy retirement, sell your house so you can travel full-time Fidelity will refuse to do business with you even though you've been a customer with Fidelity for over 10 years with significant investments. Be warned of Fidelity dealing with long-time customers.

While Fidelity has good tools, and good investment options, they will make your life miserable - even when you've been a customer for over 10 years - because you decided to sell your home and travel the US full-time. My wife and I have our life savings in Fidelity. For some reason the bank and Fidelity will not give us the interest we should have received for the month of May. After days on the telephone a man told us they did not have to give us the interest. The bank agreed. Getting an attorney for this would probably use up half our savings. Put your money under the mattress.

Thanks, Jake! I've been a Fidelity customer for 5 years, but have never really understood what's going on in my account. This is the first video of yours that I've seen. I have a managed account that's invested in a wide range of index funds. The video of yours I just watched was focused on buyers of individual stocks. Do you have a video about Fidelity's index funds? Or one about the client/adviser relationship and what kind of support and advice you can expect from your adviser?

I’m new to all of this and trying to get the best understanding. So what is fidelity exactly? A mutual fund company, an online brokerage? Are they known as both?

I am currently a customer of TD Ameritrade. But they will be moving me to Schwab sometime in the next 12 months. They will give me a date when I should sign up with Schwab and begin the process of moving my account. However, I told them that I do not want to be a customer of Schwab. So, I am looking at Fidelity. Fidelity may be my new broker. So, thank you for the information.

Thank Jake for a quick run down the Fidelity Platform. One question that I would like you to show me from this Platform... I have been used in the past one of the feature that Fidelity show which several ETF/Mutual Funds (Technologies, Energy, Healthcare, Utilities etc...) from last 3-Quarters and next Quarter (prediction) and now I could not find it ... possible platform rearrange and just wondering you can help ?. Hi Jake, great video! Got a question, I have an account with Fidelity, was set up by my former employer as part of their benefits. I can access that money intended for my retirement but will be heavily taxed. Do u know of a way that I can give a better investment use to it instead of just leaving $$ there?I would really appreciate your feedback! Regards!

DO NOT USE FIDELITY
Fidelity does not allow to set max sell orders higher than 50% of the current price. Also penny stocks cannot be sold or bought during premarket or after hours. Fractional shares cannot me transfer as shares only as cash from account to account inside Fidelity. Also, Fidelity thinks that they own your money yours hares. It is just insane how sometimes they do business.

I'm just trying to figure out a convenient way to add money to my fidelity account. I don't want to add my bank account to anything I can avoid, and don't have a checkbook. I have the account, but I'm not started.
