What kind of fish are you into mainly and have you ever had snails??? They add a certain ambience yo the biomedia buy I don't want them to take over....know of any aftermarket to sell these extra dnails to?
ОтветитьExcellent tutorial, thanks for the tips!
ОтветитьNumber 11 doing water changes. Set your tank up to work like a natural ecosystem no more water changes. Number 12 all tanks need bacteria if everything is in balance the good bacteria keeps negative bacteria in check.
ОтветитьIs there such thing as to much oxygen for fish?
ОтветитьInformative!
I have 3 mollies and 3 gliw fish in 10 gallon tank. I feed them two pinch of food twice a day ( morning and night)
Water us cloudy!
Am i feeding too much..??
And yes, I subscribed..!!
I recommend watching a father fish video
ОтветитьI like this guy
ОтветитьShould I quarantine my fish if all of the fish are brand new to the tank?
ОтветитьOr Will and Tommy Lee Men in Black
ОтветитьThe only time my fish died was because the air tubing slipped off of my air pump. The fish suffocated. Really important to make sure this doesn’t happen. Also, duckweed is amazing, because it’s basically an unlimited food source for hungry fish. It doesn’t replace fish food, but it is a snack most fish will eat throughout the day. It multiplies so quickly, that there is enough for everyone
ОтветитьYou need lessons frm Father Fish. Nitrates can work to you're advantage. Also there isn't any plants in your tank
ОтветитьMy local fish store told me get bettas because they’ll cycle tank. Turn on the filter and it throw fish in. They said for big community tank throw feeder fish in. Idk how I have not lost any but I do a lot of water changes and add prime, bacteria, and all types of stuff after joining fb groups and realizing the fish store people were wrong
ОтветитьTq. For ur best info.
ОтветитьFlooding 😂
ОтветитьWhat if I have well water
ОтветитьWhat about frozen blood worms 🪱 feeding 1 beta 2 frogs, an algae eater and a loach bottom feeder. The frogs hog most the worms so I do 1 square cut in half then 4 pieces. Is this too much ? For the other betta I do 1/2 a square. Usually every 3 days.
ОтветитьQuestion are you able to add anything like the waver, decorations, and sponge filter while there are little fish im there also, if its fine how qould i put it in, would i use my hands, or is there a convenient item to use.
ОтветитьBeautifully put. Just brilliant. Thank you.
ОтветитьLooking like SinBad💯
Ответитьmost of my tanks have HOB's, canisters, under gravel plenums, deep bed substrate and sponge filters. I do have a tank that was sponge filters only but many of my air pumps went out and one 30 gallon tank has no air, no substrate no filtration at all. I have 2 small cichlids in there and they live. I do love over filtration but is not always required.
ОтветитьFor some reason, for a good few seconds i thought u said u cant dechlorinate water while water change 😂 my heart almost stopped by that time 🤣🤣
ОтветитьCrikey I only bought a 99cent Goldfish
ОтветитьFather Fish says to put fish in a immediately to help cycle your tank and he's been keeping fish longer then you have been alive so ill keep listening to him
ОтветитьI learned about how hard it is when your power goes out I've in Oklahoma I had to get a tire pump and three hard days I pu.ped that by hand I ow have battery operated pumps
ОтветитьI learned the hard way but some how the secound group of fishtailhey all lived
ОтветитьI have a snail problem, cleaned the tank several times but they are still there. They are everywhere. I bought an assassin snail but it seem to help. What can I do?
ОтветитьI knew all of this. I do most of it except the last 2.
ОтветитьAlways find your videos insightful and interesting. You’ve helped me in my fish keeping journey. Thanks 🙏🏽
ОтветитьWatched this like 2 years ago and learned so much. Didn't have an account back then so I had to come back and hit the like button! Great videos and so much helpful and honest information!
ОтветитьThanks KaveMan Aquatics..from sunny Florida 🌴
ОтветитьHAHAHA never cycled a tank.
ОтветитьWhen you change the water, run the tank for 5 hours before you return the fish. You don't need dechlorintion stuff!
I only feed my fish twice a week!
(they ARE pond gold fish though and i have had them years!)
🤔
I use vitamin-c too de kloramin my tank.
ОтветитьOld guy here, he is right and I even forgot a few of these.
ОтветитьA lot of great tips! I always recommend controllers for heaters. They're not super expensive, especially when it comes to replacing all your fish, and the readout makes it so easy to monitor. Absolutely on the qt too!!
ОтветитьDont u think theres to many fish in that tank
ОтветитьGot it. So, no that I brought home some goldfish and put them into a new, uncycled tank that I filled with RO water, whats the next move LOLOL????
ОтветитьThats why i stick to guppies n snails, easy to work with and if they die theyre cheap, i try to give em the best but i aint checking for diseases n shit
ОтветитьCyanide tablets 😂
ОтветитьI have never "cycled" a tank, and I have never had my fish die. I do always use a de-chlorinator though. Back in the 1980s I had a 60 gallon with African cichlids and it lasted me many years, getting married and moving before the bottom broke one day.
ОтветитьThis gentleman is very correct
Iv had my gold fish for 14 years
The power went of for a couple of days she got dropsy I managed to keep her alive for one more year busting the bubbles and using a treatment.
You need to follow the instructions the man gave.
I myself really on the bacteria in the gravel to support the aquarium.
But I don't let the ammonia overwhelm the environment. good luck to all.
Sir, can you video where did you get that nice looking black tank I had one years ago it was an old Dell 220 gallons Odell tank
Ответитьwater change? my tank been unchanged for 4 years. thriving ecosystem, changing water would unbalance it
Ответитьi thank you so much for this.. i just recently saw my goldfish get black spots. i think i screwed up with changing the water and cleaning the filter. And also me washing the dish decor with tap water.
ОтветитьI just started i bought a used 15 galón I cleaned it with plain water I filled it up with tap water I put the rocks the plants then declorinized it and I put a filter and a heater and I let sit for like 2 days without any fishes , then I went and got a few tropical fishes and I put them in ,so far there ok ,what should I do to clean them when it’s time and do I have to clean water ones a month
Ответитьthis guy is nonsense. Water must be alive. To make it alive, you need to give it time. Number 1 reason that kills fish are these chemicals such as dechlorane etc. Let the water become alive. I never ever change my water for years. Water needs to grow bacteria and everything. It takes time. Beginners can follow this fools advice though. Have fun killing your fish
ОтветитьQuestion - although I always did use Stress Coat (for my bettas), I have a ground water well, with zero chlorination. Is a dechlorinator still recommended for those of us on ground water wells?
ОтветитьInteresting i must be really lucky or the water here has zero chlorine in it,i have yet to have a issue when any of these problems
Ответить
