Q: How would you go about editing a xlma model?
I have removed the use of AAS by deploying a model from Tabular Editor but I am now not sure how to edit my model
Will there be 'grouping' in any future development of this? - It would be great to be ale to add/remove from groups within the workspce
ОтветитьI have a calendar table, and I need to add a second calendar table with the dates from the previous year. Goal: creating year over year charts. I see that I can add a table, but I get errors when I try to do this. Can I duplicate the original table and make the dates the year before? or am I on the wrong track entirely. I love this new feature! and want to be able to use it.
ОтветитьFinally!
ОтветитьToo often the words Macbook and Adam
ОтветитьLove all the shade being thrown at Adam, when we can see him in the reflection on the right as he's doing his best Matrix window washer impersonation.
ОтветитьUseful!!
ОтветитьDoes any one know if this feature is only for PBI premium users or Pro users can take advantage of it as well?
ОтветитьI love how Patrick says, "Adam wanted to do this, but I kind a kicked him out of the room."
Can anyone else see Adam's reflection in the window off to the right of Emily?!
when i click my 3 dots dataset, open data model menu are grey.
i'm using premium for capacity workspace
any settings should be done in tenant side?
thanks
I’m really happy with this feature! I’m a Power BI developer for more than 8 years and since always my main complaint with Power BI is that my work computer is a MacBook.
For the last 8 years: I’ve already paid Parallels to use Power BI Desktop, I’ve already created windows VMs on Azure for using Power BI Desktop and also today I do own a secondary laptop (Windows) basically for editing PBI (and for running DAX Studio)!
Now finally I’ll be able to leverage more the web version of the PBI Editor, and I can stay more time in my Mac!!! Amazing feature! ❤
No version control, auto savings, group calcs, ability to download after changes, sounds dangerous for a real production environment.
ОтветитьDoes it have the new format options, from the updates in March?
ОтветитьThis is so amazing, not only for non-Windows users, but also a bunch of people in my company that would need to go through a whole process to get Power BI Desktop installed, and now can do it from the workspace!!
ОтветитьWas she on her MacBook?! … 😆
ОтветитьHi! Will we be able to use OLS as well?
Ответить🍌🍌🍌 I’m a Mac user at home and this would be great when I want to tinker with a model and try something out on the weekend!
ОтветитьI'm a PC guy period.
ОтветитьDam now i can use my linux notebbok
Ответить...wait what!! a Mac in a Microsoft tutorial video??? what disrespectful! 😁🤣
ОтветитьThis is great, but how do you keep this file in sync with your PBI desktop file?
ОтветитьIs this feature for premium only?
ОтветитьIf you are using DirectQuery, does Fabric edit the Tabular Model when you add a measure?
If so, how do you handle good source control?
Data model changes save automatically. There is no option of undo which is not expected
