Never too late to drop a comment for this masterpiece. I've watched several dramas but never came close to this one. My Mister will be forever my top notch drama. I've waited for all the episodes to be completely released way back then before I binged watch and I never felt so moved after. Cried a bucket and never thought my life less than wonderful as this drama taught me big time how life must be lived along with its challenges and how human heart can endure everything and love can change one person's course of life. Let's all be kind. Afterall, "It's nothing. It's not a big deal."❤

I think she felt embarrassed that he didn't use the slippers, since it's not common for her to have someone close to her like this that she'd want to gift them something so thoughtful. So she took it back. Then I think he didn't use the slippers because they were too precious to him

Brilliant show, this was my first Korean drama, and I had such high hopes after this show, all of which crashing when I watched other shows, but this show is a gem

this is actually very beautiful.. kudos ti the writer.. this is his confession to ji an.. ji an slippers is a metaphore of ji an heart that she gave to him.. although he did not use it yet.. he just keep it in the office.. he always look at it.. signify he was thinking about her heart(love) but havent decide what to do with it yet.. he still stuck in the old slippers aka old life that he has now.. unknown what to do with his cheating wife..and the consequence of his not as good as his friends and family think life will come out in the open.. he is stoic and rarely shows his feeling.. he ask ji an why she take his slippers back.. isnt he worth to have the slippers? (read it as isnt he worth of her love) he then narate about how he would react to people around him.. hinting that he wants her to not ignore him even he did not react to her love for now.. he wants her to have a good life ahead.. asking her (subtly) to give time (10-20 years here means quite a lot of time)... and he wants that slippers back.. he wants her love back... so cute...
