The (FES-I) is a measure of “fear of falling” or “concerns about falling

It has predictive validity for the risk of future falls in the frail elderly

It is a 10 item questionnaire,

with a score ranging from minimum 1 to 10, ....with 1 being very confident and 10 being not confident at all,

So u would be asked about ....
how confident are you that you do the following activities without falling?

So a total score of greater than 70 indicates that the person has a fear of
falling
