AMD Hurts Intel BAD - Ryzen 9 5900X vs 10900K Review and Benchmarks!

Hey All! Thanks for watching my review and I hope you enjoy it. 🙏
CORRECTION though -- I haven't been getting much sleep and I got my percentages mixed up multiple times in the voice over benchmark commentary. The charts, numbers, and summary are all still correct, but if I say "the 5900X is x% faster than the 10900K/3900X" what I meant to say is "the 10900K/3900X is x% slower than the 5900X". All my percentage-difference calculations were relative to the 5900X, but you can't just swap those values like I did. Apologies for any confusion, I realized this WAY too late to fix it. 😅

Which AIO is the best for this CPU?

This is all well and good but for current Intel system users, switching requires the purchase of a new motherboard to stick that hot new CPU in. You should figure in that cost because anyone without an existing AMD-based system will have to factor in extra hardware costs to transition between brands. As a reviewer, it would be prudent of you to say something about that fact.

It's amazing that no one else that's tested the 5800X against 10900k are getting these gaming results. Certainly not the vloggers I have watched, GN for instance.

bro can you please put a test were both prossecors are in the same clock speed? 4ghz is probabely the best clock to lock all cores. it will enable us to see who is the best and real faster prossecor

the ryzen 9 3900XT is better than the x version.
but in my experiance AMD has always made better and cheaper CPU's than intel has.

AMD is literally trash. I've had 3 Ryzens in my entire life (NEW!) and they all broke down after like 2 years. I have installed them correctly and my PC is also assembled correctly (not like Verge's PC :P).

@Paul is there any difference from "Made in China" and "Made in Malaysia" 5900x?

Why does my 5900x boost to 5ghz on stock settings , is it safe for this to happen? the cpu voltages hit 1.5v usually sit around 1.2v temps are 33idle and 70 under load, aorus pro wifi board ver 1.2 with f30 bios

Finally got one Ryzen 9 5900X over 2 months after release...

Got an old pc (Ten years plus) decided to trash the guts, keep the case and use my old RX480 8 Gig until the new GPUs become available. Bought one component a week for a 5900x based system. 64 gigs RAM and just need to add M.2 and a cooler; probably new windows pro install, because this system is Ryzen. Decided not to get a loan or save up to buy a premade rig. Is there a better way to accomplish this that I haven't thought of? What do you guys do when upgrade time comes along?

Some really interesting points. A month later the 5900X doesn't seem to exist in stores. Intel has dropped the price in many places.
And after staring at hours on hour of testing video the lead that we saw in so many early reviews doesn't seem to exist anymore. What a freaking weird world were in.

I use my system for gaming and streaming, will pair my 5900x with 3080 and use NVENC (NEW) for streaming. Which RYZEN MASTER setting should I use? Gaming or Content creators? Also what's a good starting point for manual overclock? Thanks!

Got my 5900x and was a bit conerned seeing the temps when it would run 72 ish when gaming. Guess they just like to run very hot.
