Do I need to run Display Pilot on the SW272Q if I have the PMU?
ОтветитьHmmm, 'no supported monitor' error, I have a SW240, Benq recommend uninstalling any other calibration software after checking USB/hardware. I have i1studio app not running and I don't think there are any background processes relating to it, do I need to delete it if I want to run PMU?
Ответитьit is so obvious PMU is giving better results because it calibrate and valdiate small amount of color patches
ОтветитьEvery time I turn on my computer PMU is running in the back ground. How do I stop this from happening? Mac Studio
ОтветитьHi Art. I have been having a bit of a problem with calibrating my SW321C on a Mac Studio1. I just tried the PMU, and so far the best calibration, but the whites are slightly "muddy"/greenish blue tinted. The black and white images actually look "cleaner/whiter" before calibration. I did the calibration with a Calibrate, Color Checker Display Pro. Thank you very much!
ОтветитьToday!!!
ОтветитьWhat, 2700PT not included??? Why....?
ОтветитьI have two SW271-B monitors (rating plate says SW271-B Type SW271) dated October 2019. Are those supported by PM Ultimate? And do we have an actual release date for the Mac version of PMU?
ОтветитьI have been using Spyder 5 and find it does not work with PMU. Thinking about going over to Calibrite either the pro or plus, does the pro connect to usb-c as the plus does. Also do you need to install the software when using PMU.
ОтветитьThank you for the video!
Maybe it's just my PC but on my system I have to restart windows if I want to switch between PME or PMU. My guess is, that the "serial over USB FTDI driver" somehow not releases the port after closing the application. Not a very big deal, but it was a bit annoying while trying PMU.
What pleasently surprised me was the possibility to use my "GretagMacbeth (now X-Rite) Eye-One Pro" although it is not stated as compatible. For anyone with a similar Hardware, I use the driver version 2.40.0.1315 and selected the Xrite i1Pro 2.
I really hope the PMU remains free... I don't understand why an account based software is needed to calibrate a monitor which you already payed for.
An 18 patch calibration vs the original large model, but claiming better accuracy just makes No sense
ОтветитьArt, how about the calibration communication with windows color? With PME if I make a new calibration for cal 1 and cal 2 and switch on the hot puck between them I have to go into win color and make whichever cal I'm using as the default. Does this software communicate better with the windows os?
Ответитьthanks very much for that informative q&a. one thing which really takes alot of time on my mac calibrating a sw321c display with pme is writing the LUT... is this process also faster in pmu? atm it takes about 1hr to calibrate all 3 calibration Slots. and can i still calibrate the display using panel native as a color gammut preset? in the pmu for windows introduction video you didn't mention that.
ОтветитьI have the SW320. Are there plans for PMU to support that monitor at a later date?
ОтветитьGotta respect Benq for not leaving out the 24inch SW.
ОтветитьWhat about Mac?
Ответитьhi Art after I install PMU, I can't find the name of Spyder X pro in the calibrator column. Only for Calibrate
ОтветитьCan you explain how the algorithms differ from what's offered by Calibrite? Also, why BenQ doesn't make their own calibrators and rely on xrite/calibrite? If so, their software should be available for purchase if you don't have a Benq display.
ОтветитьJust my luck that the "Calibrite Color Checker Display" is not supported by PMU. That's the device I have.
ОтветитьOh! So sorry to see SW2700PT is currently not in compatibility list. Will the old monitor ever get the ultimate taste. I am currently on PME Ver. 1.3.15. which upgraded version of PME is good currently ?
ОтветитьPlz add SW 271 also...
