Creator here! the gun probably didn't drop because of a couple console commands. iirc "activeragdoll_guncandrop" should be "1" and "activeragdoll_gundropchance" should be like 0.3 or higher if you want to have it dropping all the time. thanks for the video btw!

So this addon began as something goofy at first, for some bizzare reason, the addon's creator went out of its way to add a very realistic behavior that would more fit a normal NPC instead of a funny animated ragdoll.

I expected something else

honestly with enough ai learning and upgrades. we could have some pretty cool ai generated movement. like we see in rain world and apparently even half life alyx where none of the animations are well, animations. they are all procedurally generated by ai with a few parameters of course so that way soldiers move like well soldiers instead of flailing civs that haven't held a gun in their entire life. if we keep improving that technology then the npcs in half life are gonna get so much better and are never gonna look or move in the same way as eachother and have some pretty cool interactions like we see in this mod already with holding gunshot wounds.
