How to control your PS4 with Home Assistant and Google Home

i'm not using harmony or anything just a normal service call where I use media player select source

I want to use it to open Netflix, but when I type the source as netflix, nothing happens

Because I'm on the smart Google assistant website signed in etc and the settings ur clicking on are not available on my website I'm on so ya how do u expcet this to work for some when u don't fully do step 1

It don't help when u don't even tell anyone what website your on or what to type in. U just jump into clicking on things like okay sure tell us what to click ya okay yes hmmm ya sure yes but u missed the very 1st step what website. Like hello u expect us to just know what website ur on like maybe at least put it as a pinned comment would help out alot of people.

Dear Smart Home Makers, I have migrated my HA installation from Docker to VM. Since the migration, my PS4 integration broke. I have deleted the old connection on my PS4 and am now trying to set it up again. When I try to set it up again, the HA does not appear on the second screen app. I have read about opening some ports. Did you also have to do this? Do these ports have to be opened in the router or in HA itself? Many thanks for the support. Kind regards, Robin

Dear Smart Home Makers, I am in need of your advice / support again. I had the PS4 integration running perfectly for multiple months and even created some automations for it. Today I discovered that my HA is no longer able to communicate with my PS4. I deleted the integration and tried to add it again to my HA. However, in get stuck in the phase of the second screen app. Every time I try to connect my HA to the second screen app, I receive a time-out error which prevents me from adding my PS4 again. I do not seem to find a solution for this issue. Could you please help me adding my PS4 to HA again? Many thanks. Kind regards, Robin

Where is step one? What exactly is home assistant, how do I get to home assistant, how do I know I'm connected to the right home assistant? These are all questions I have and none of them are being answered.
