Over the years of using REAPER, it has proven to be the most accessible DAW. It may not have flashy built-in plugins, but you get all of the real tools needed for pro mixes.

Oversampling filters destroy transients impact. Saturation in the box it's a HYPE. Make signal sounds fake. Who try to work with analog outboard will say the same. Cheap DIY Diode\Zener clipper will give your music more profit than all fake ass saturator plugins. And again - TAPE. Plugins will NEVER make it 1:1. Ne-Ver! It's impossible.

Cool tip. But where can we find the signal file?

Yup, I love Reaper. This oversample option has saved me in a few situations. While it doesn't work with every plugin I've tried, it works with most of them :)
