I studied martial arts in the forms of Chung Do Kwon, Tang Soo Do, Hapkido, and Karate for 7 years and I achieved a second dan black belt. I have performed demonstrations in front of thousands of people while breaking eight cement blocks at my peak, eight 1" thick boards with my elbows, and eight 1" thick boards with a spinning back kick. The Dim Mak that was performed in Bloodsport is impossible. However, a punch to the solar plex (or solar plexus) is enough to incapacitate anyone while you de-escalate a situation...or take on the next guy in line. I have fought many times and I have always done my best to avoid the fight in the first place. Out of all of my many teachings, one thing that I have learned is that it is better to attempt to avoid a fight, than to fight at all. Martial arts is for self defense purposes only, not so you can go out and pick fights.

Our Wing Chun school is having a seminar from my Sifu's Sifu (SiGung) and at first it seemed like it would be "normal". But now he has stated that he is bringing some Dim Mak DVDs to be sold at the seminar. I didn't even know what Dim Mak is. After watching your video, I come to realize that I actually did see it used once in Kill Bill. The Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique. Both him and my Sifu sometimes mention the selling of some goo that you can smear on your body that will help healing injuries and soreness from any type of physical training. It is always something with these Chinese based martial arts. A Hung Ga Sifu wrote on his website that he once tiger clawed his way up the side of a building during a fire to save a child and that is why we should join his kung fu school. I am simply ignoring all of that stuff and learning the Wing Chun that I know is real.
