I don’t understand how a culture that loves to eat food as a social bond has weird weight standards
ОтветитьI'm surprised that most of interviewee weigh less than 51kg.
ОтветитьHomegirl that mentioned Toronto is very attractive. She's more attractive than like 99% of native Korean women I've seen. It's insane to me she would be considered on the chubby side and not automatically be looked at as super hot over there. But it seems in Korea they have a very rigid beauty standard combined with a high pressure to conform.
ОтветитьSo, basically in Korea, having anorexia is considered a goal?! That is horrible!
ОтветитьMy friend weight 95lbs but she is 150cm she looks very skinny maybe the height is the main key here. I can never go below 115lbs(118lbs, 5.4ft =165cm) I would get tired easily and couldn’t do my job properly.
ОтветитьIn times of famine, being fat or bigger will be the new beauty. Typically that’s how it’s been in tough times.
ОтветитьI'm 159cm and with regular activity I'm inbetween 47-8kg, to maintain 46kg I'd have to run 20km daily. How is that girl maintaining 42-3kg is beyond me.
ОтветитьIm short at chubby 😅 i should weigth 45-50 kg based on my heigth but im 15-20 kg more 😅😅and i was an athlete i gained this weigth after
ОтветитьI'd look anorexic if I went by those standards. I have strong bones, so when I lose weight you can see it on me pretty quickly. At 58 kg I already look very skinny in the face and body. I cant imagine what I would look like at 50 kg ... or worse 40 kg ... probably just bones and skin. Maybe it works for Korean people because they're built differently. I have strong, sharp bones, I'd look like a skeleton.
ОтветитьBeing slim, pale, plastic surgery being the norm…I would’ve hated to be a teenager or child in Korea.
ОтветитьAt 56kg and covered in tattoo's, i would be doomed in Korea 😅😅!!
Ответить50kg chubby ?!!!!!!!
Ответитьno way they're calling the fit girl with muscles "fat". Korea is a doomed country
ОтветитьMy bf is from korea and has never had to put effort into maintaining his weight. Hes coming to the gym with me this weekend, and im thoroughly looking forward to breaking his ass off. I work really hard for the body ive gotten. Im about 163 cm (5'4) and 60 kg (132.8 lbs). Ive lost almost 60 pounds since april and ive worked my ass off to get here. If my bf ever told me to be skinnier or put more effort in, id just tell him that he has no room to talk until he is willing to do the same. Its not necessarily about weight. Its about lifestyle.
Ответитьso many clips are repeating in this video
Ответить50 is underweight for a young woman (20ies)where I am from❤️🐤
ОтветитьMy daughter is 5.5 and she is 34 kg she is 15. We are in the U.K. she is considered underweight. She does eat but is very fussy and she doesn’t eat junk food.
ОтветитьThere is nothing called 'beauty standard'. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. And colours.
ОтветитьNo one's talking about bone structure. It's a huge factor when determining healthy weight range. To illustrate just how much, my friend is shorter than me but with thicker bones. If she weighed what I weigh she'd be severely underweight, whereas I certainly am not too skinny. The same weight looks different on different people, even if they are the same height, because bones can physically take up more or less space. Asians typically have a smaller bone structure than Westerners, as well as being shorter on average. With this in mind, 40-50 kg for a smalled boned female is fine
ОтветитьI love the first girl. Meghan the stallion 😅 most of them have vain self esteem. Beauty standards
ОтветитьI'm 184 cm, I would be 45 kg in my coffin probably
ОтветитьNo way...I'm 157 cm and 71 kg and I'm sexy......and the girl said what? 42-43 kg? They are crazy....once I was 51 kg and I looked like a skeleton....and they say 45 kg max.....that's distrophia....
ОтветитьBroooo the weight in Korea scares me…. Like am naturally petite and short at 5’1 and am like 115 lbs 😢😢 88-92 lbs is crazy…. Guess I would be chubby in Korea wtf. I feel like 130 lbs in the US is a normal weight for most women
Ответитьi'm 5'10 and the thought of being in the 40s or even 50s kg range is such a foreign thought to me! I've been from about 69-71 my whole life, and I'm a very healthy weight right now, many people I know even call me skinny!
ОтветитьYour weight should not depend on social standards, it depends on your height, age, heredity, bone structure and other health factors, etc. Everyone is different and what matters is that you are and feel healthy!
I weigh around 99 pounds (45 kilos) but my height is around 4"11 (1.50 m) According to my nutritionist I am perfectly healthy (Yes, I could still put on a little more weight, but it all depends if I feel healthy with it, because I'm a very short person, with a very small bone structure )
Literally I come from a family of "hobbits", very skinny and small! So you can say I'm naturally skinny! But people always tell me that I'm tooo skinny, that I should should eat more cake or McDonald's, but obviously those people don't know about health or healthy food and that's why people have to educate themselves more about food and health and self-esteem, so they don't fall for these kind of crazy standards. The truth is that in the end being overweight or underweight is unhealthy and we should all strive to be healthy, (physically and mentally) not for beauty or society's standards but for our bodies, so that we can live a longer and healthier life!
Let's honor our bodies more and appreciate the work it does to keep us alive!🤍
If I weighted 45 kg with 170 heigh I'd probably d..ie.
ОтветитьGreat interviewing skills. 👍👍
Ответить50 kg is literally so little for an adult.. whaaat😳 I know Asian woman are often smaller in height (and men too) but still 50kg is not much and absolutely shouldn’t be considered chubby - they raise generations of girls with eating disorders
the woman saying she gets told to loose some weight.. she was literally normal🙁 quite gross that men tell them this .. like do they want skeletons??
for me personally if my bmi says im healthy then im good
ОтветитьIm 165cm/52kgs. I looked fat when I was 60 kgs to be honest. Now I look SO MUCH better. :)
Ответитья вешу 40кг при росте 160, это мой обычный вес без диет. я родилась худой / I weigh 40kg with a height of 160, this is my usual weight without dieting. I was born thin.
ОтветитьIn my country, when you weigh 40kg, you're locked up in mental hospital for anorexia
ОтветитьI wonder if they ever look at someone thinks she looks skinny but then when they find out her weight they think she not because it doesn’t meet the standard there. It’s weird that they don’t consider height. I’m trying to lose weight and my goal is to get back the weight when I started college. I would still would want to lose some weight after that but to which I’m not sure, it depends how it looks like. They should also consider bone density. I’m around 5’5 or 5’6 so my first goal go back to 120
ОтветитьThere are literally studies on what the most attractive BMI is for women and the standard is indeed different from western compared to east asian countries
ОтветитьThe standart in my country is the fucking worst. Aunties called my 46kg mom fat when she was TWENTY
ОтветитьI'm 172cm and weigh about 54-55kg and that's on the low end of healthy for me, and I'm shocked that that would be considered fat😀
ОтветитьThey have some stainless implants under their faces. That might add extra weight.
ОтветитьA moça de cabelo vermelho disse tudo ! 🥰
ОтветитьI used to live in Korea and now that I live in North America, the beauty standards are very different!! in North America I am average weight, but if I was to go to Korea again, I think I would be considered chubby. Koreas beauty standards are really rough 😢
ОтветитьWhy did u just interview a few women?
Ответитьim 38kg 💀
ОтветитьKorean/Chinese/Japanese girls’ facial structures are not as prominent as western girls ( high nose , cheek bone etc ). Therefore, In my humble opinion, only when they are skinny , their facial features look more defined.
I m Chinese girl with flat nose, small eyes & square face . At UK size 10, my face is chubby 😢
they don't seem to comprehend that muscle weighs more than fat
Ответить
