Oh Oh willy morris you sneaky little bugger you. Bending the customer over at every turn. Some things never really do change I guess
ОтветитьIt was the velvet +(I)+ (wood) of never made it an also highly allergic (cortoroy) in the future glad that's nothing
ОтветитьIf I had to sit that close to Dr. Lipscomb, I think I would be as nervous and stuttery as Prof. Andy Meharg seems to be. All things considered, he seems to be keeping it together pretty well.
ОтветитьI would like to have that device to read contens in wallpapets and paint. What is it called?
ОтветитьHer last sentence is very true
ОтветитьI'd love to know the name of the shade of red lacquer that you're wearing
ОтветитьI had to listen to the name of that Swedish scientist over and over before I understood what the narrator was trying to say. Gilles? Shill? And then I got it. Scheele. Putting the name in writing in the video would really help there.
ОтветитьI wonder if in 100 or 200 years from now they will discuss all the idiotic & unsafe things we do today with consumer goods/medicine/etc the same way lol this was awesome, very informative.
ОтветитьCould you play that background music any louder?!?! Jeez louise
ОтветитьPerhaps, but read between the lines…..The difference between the brain washing yet what is it that truly scares him?!?! Where does the truth lie? I’m not excusing a thing. I’m just curious to know what is it that really cuts to the core of these people that make them in love with Trump…..That’s where the democratic challenger needs to focus to flip these people!
ОтветитьThe greatest exposure to arsenic would be when they peeled off the green wall paper. All that dust released and contaminating the whole house.
ОтветитьSeeing her try on the corest made me think back to when Mrs. Everglott said "Get those corsets laced properly! I can hear you speak without gasping." Good lords
Ответитьa Victorian era version of better Homes & Gardens will live on in my head forever
Ответитьgood lord, whoever did the audio editing on this needs to be fired. The music does not need to be 3 notches higher than the narrator.
ОтветитьSocial media - the green wallpaper of the 21st century.
ОтветитьWith lead in the paint, arsnic wallpaper, mercury in the hats, asbestos as insulation, and radioactive makeup and medicine, it's a miracle we're still here.
ОтветитьTo put it simply. The Pro life side was also pro corset.
ОтветитьAll of us that are alive today, who had a lineage before that saw many lineages snuffed out, for the last billions of years. I wonder if in 100 years or more theyll be looking back at our period and look at things that happened say geopolotics wise or something similiar, and will it be possible to fathom a time when looking at our time is just as appalling as looking at the 1800s, maybe its all we can look forward to as humanity, and it shows that most of us never can accept the scale of change that happens in such short times. Im not sure what Im trying to say I suppose.
Ответитьi'm sick of this corset slander. what if i told you stays and corsets were invented for women by women. was already stated that a very small minority tightlaced -- the rest wore them for practical reasons: bust and back support. people wear corsets today and have no issue moving around in them or even doing sports.
ОтветитьI would argue a properly worn/fitted/laced corset isn't dangerous and is amazing. I use one to help support my back and to support the weight of historical costuming.
ОтветитьWhat a proper lovely british lady
ОтветитьImagine that. Governement regulation wasn't necessary.
ОтветитьThere were no better alternatives to corsets back then. Bras weren’t in the picture yet.
ОтветитьI never want to wear a corset- Jasmin
ОтветитьThis is why I won't have a gas home.
ОтветитьI love this series! So interesting.
Ответитьnot to be dramatic but i would die for the welsh dude talking about cooking ranges. he just sounds so nice???
ОтветитьI think if other people survived in it then yeah I would survive in it too.
ОтветитьThey all just dressed really nice but we’re in fact all disintegrating from the inside out😂
ОтветитьThey all just dressed really nice but we’re in fact all disintegrating from the inside out😂
ОтветитьBlank space for eye comfort
.
Just a thanks to my ancestors, amazing I am here at all!
Ответитьyes, only when the very TOP are affected are changes made for overall safety and justice
ОтветитьCan u make the background music even louder i can't hear what they r saying
ОтветитьWhen society idealises unwashed cork for babies to use, it prepares resilience for life! ~ ARandomBrainFart😂 but I feel sorry for the people, fighting everything to stay alive; microbes, society and very house.
ОтветитьThis is a nice contrast to some of the complete nonsense you shill off on your channel.
ОтветитьIts safe to say that William Morris is a monster, an a cold hearted beast, regardless of his history of arts and crafts😠.
ОтветитьGod....she's hot!
ОтветитьThe corset one is so horrifying because you’re organs are essentially being crushed from the inside
ОтветитьOts not cool make the thumb nails look like.its a new.oe different doc I've watched, amd here I is the same one I've seen a thousand times
ОтветитьThey're way off on the corset. Wealthy young women were the only people who were tight-lacing. Working women didn't have that "luxury". Most men and Women found it to be ridiculous. It was a fad for the 18-25 year olds for the most part. Also, a corset isn't as uncomfortable as they make it seem in this doc. It is structured which gives so much more support. And you CAN breathe just fine. Of course through the decades some corsets were more comfortable than others, as the design changed with the style of dress.
ОтветитьI guess all the stuff that was sitting around was the beginning of the word WHAT-NOT??
Ответить🤔
Ответитьbut of course it would hurt you, that corset was NOT made for you.
ОтветитьThese dangers remind me of what the government is doing these days. They don't care about people's health, they just push the sh0ts and m@sks. They know the truth, but they still push them. At least in Victorian times inventions were not regulated well for different reasons.
ОтветитьIs there a reason the voice-over commentary is drowned out by the background music?
My guess is it's to drive viewers to "Pay to View" site. Why do you think Magellan TV has its advert in the top right corner? Of corset would ;)
