There is no G-parted program, knowing that it is inside the files, but it asks for a serial, so how does it ask for a serial while I am in the installation stage, something strange

I followed the same process when it asks for a reboot, then I remove the Pendrive when the screen goes black then it doesn't boot, I just get a prompt saying

Mx19 ?
[ok]

but when I select ok it is again kind of boot into windows10.

So is there any solution to it?

many of us have the same issue, it would be great if you could address these issues.

I saw another video, where they made a separate "Home" partition. Is there a benefit to this? When I get around to actually installing MX, it will be on an SSD, and as it's own machine, no dual booting, or other drives.(On a laptop). Is it necessary to have a separate "Boot" partition, and "Root" partition? Thank you.

OK , but do i need root persistence ( and if so, how much GB) or home persistence ( and if so, how much GB) or even both for implementing the budgie desktop on the live key ? And if i change it on the installed MX XFCE ( thus on the harddrive of the PC) will the budgie desktop replace the XFCE desktop definitely or will it just be aan option to choose and to leave again

thank you for your quick reply but ( it might sound stupid )do i mark this before the install( i mean booted on the USB live key) or do i download simply the package once MX( as XFCE) is installed on the harddrive on the PC

I am facing high memory useage with thunar. Screen freezes and I have to force reboot everytime. I am using mxlinux 19.2. I have tried both Ahs and non AHS. Thanks for the video.
I installed on EFI. I have 4GB ram. Intel i3. If that helps.

Save live desktop changes "wallpaper,icons....adding a new repo from KXSTUDIO, installing various desktops and windowmanagers, apps and proggies, uninstalling things you do not want like libre office, gimp and so on, for music studio build, and updating the system and adding a real time kernel at boot". LOL! Only in MX/AntiX! I have NOT found ANY other version of Linux distros that can do all this! I have tried Elive,Debian, respins of Debian, and pretty much non allow live changes to this very extent, to be saved and passed over into the "INSTALLED SYSTEM" or? a RESPUN ISO SNAPSHOT of your CHANGED LIVE preinstalled or INSTALLED system! Only MX/AntiX LINUX allows THAT! If this was a product you sell, I would be the spokes person...

Simple and clear demo as always. And right on time for I intend to install it on my Lenovo laptop if I can get the wifi working. A driver exists (rtl8821ce) for (Fedora and) Ubuntu, easy to install in a few clicks. I'm not so sure if it is possible in MX. If it is, that would be my main os (using it right now on an external drive, runs smoothly).

Also, is it possible to install MX in dual boot with W10 while not altering the Windows boot loader, that is, on startup Windows shows an option to boot either W10 or the other system (used to be possible with W8)? Same question for W7...

Great video, can you explain the minimum size required for EFI and BOOT partitions? Also the required file system (fat32, fat16, ext4, etc...) for each partition?
I remember I tried to install with encryption in the past and the installer was not showing some partitions apparently because they were too small..
TIA

Nice and clear, DO. Great to spend some time on the partitioning, we get a lot of questions about it.

Hello Dolphin , can you also do an install of Antix 19.2 video , still can't get the time to set correctly especially when connected to a network. MX 19.2 & Antix 17.4.1works beautifully well no problems they are both my distros that I prefer. Just want to get Antix 19.2 to work on the time setting. Thanks
