This scene has so much power in it. Almost feel like it’s me & my dad having the conversation. But obviously with different outcomes. If Franklin would’ve just let it all go and leave he could’ve had a better life. He could’ve had his wife & kid. He’d have his mom & uncle. But I get it. Walking away from someone that stole 70 million dollars, that you had earned. Yeah I probably would’ve reacted the same. I think we all would’ve ha?

The whole cast was beyond talented. Heartbreaking from start to finish and more than that I'm glad the last season wasn't poor because John wasn't there.

It's mad how badly Jerome and Louie turned their back on franklin. He made them millionaires, they could have all disappeared and lived happily ever after but it tore them apart.

Franklin has never regretted doing this with his family, and however anyone decides to see it, he cares about his family. The money took over him though and I think just about anyone who came from where he came from wouldn't have done the same deeds he'd done up till his final moments. Everyone says that it wasn't just Louie and everyone else played a part, but think about it. Louie didn't have to shoot Kane because they could've dealt with him the same way they dealt with Manboy, and they would've succeded. Louie decided to go behind Franklin's back, she didn't even discuss it with him or at least consult with him. If Louie had never made some of the decisions she made, I don't think the finale would've ended up as it did. She threw him under the bus when he came to her for help, his auntie, someone he considered family, someone important to him, but she didn't hesitate to see him lose all of what he earned. I do believe that all of Franklin's decisions played a part in his undoing, but the person who played the biggest part in this was definitely Louie and Teddy in his downfall. Jerome was willing to sit and let Franklin fall and didn't ever consult with Louie that maybe what she was doing wasn't the right way and they shouldn't abandon Franklin, because that's exactly what they did that day. I'm not saying that Franklin didn't deserve the ending he got, but I do think it could've been avoided if they'd stuck together and didn't break apart. In the end, though, it was kind of poetic, because there's been multiple instances where you could've predicted his end, whether it be Manboy, Franklin Vs. Franklin, Veronique, or even that small foreshadow in the final moments of the Pilot. There isn't any good outcome in this, and if there is that's a fairytale. You're going to end up dead, in jail, or living your worst fear.

I know you’ll find comments praising Damson Idris’s performance in every single clip of this show but goddamn. This man is a generational talent. On top of that, Amin Joseph is one of the greatest unsung talents of this show. Incredible scene.

love how Louie blamed Franklin for this meet up going wrong when Jerome literally starts by insulting Franklin and blaming everything on him... they really are all POS's but the fact that they can be this blind when Franklin said 'lets just call it square' shows how they were more happy seeing Franklin hurt and no longer at the top than fixing things.

I feel bad for Jerome, he was a real G but to be honest Louie put so much unnecessary pressure on him, he already had enough dealing with Franklin and the business, so i can see why he cracked.

The character development in this show sets the bar as far as i'm concerned, the acting, story, characters and the setting just blow me away too, haven't seen a show with this high level of quality in years.
