After more than 45 years away from Mass. people still comment on my accent! But almost no one not from Mass.. can pronounce the town names properly. Try Scituate, or Leominster or Weymouth. Much of New England have town names that are hard to pronounce and some of us are very proud of that: we got to correct people who are "from away". OK a little bit passive/aggressive... As long as they can say "Lobstah, and Chowdah" they get a pass.
ОтветитьMagical!🎉❤
ОтветитьVery good 👍 jod ❤❤❤
ОтветитьThe mispronunciations was hysterical,
Good job at leaving all the crime stats out
My first fourty years of life were in the People's Republic of Massachusetts. If you value the Bill of Rights, don't move here!
ОтветитьI HAD to stop watching. The mispronunciations of the towns like Falmouth, Worcester, and Salem (FAAL-muth, WUS-tur or WUS-tah, and Say-lem are correct fml) were too much for me.
ОтветитьWe t to graduate school in Boston-wanted to stay but couldn’t get a job. Moved back to Boston in late 1980s and there until middle of 1991. Now in Texas and have been here over 30 years. Would , unlike other poster who now lives in Texas , love to be back there but can no longer deal with snow and ice. Pronunciations of towns awful and lots of information wrong, but great pictures.
ОтветитьThat was the worst accent I've ever heard. Also. You have to have money to live in those areas. I'm from Dorchester and could never afford that retired. Who hired you the Massachusetts chamber of commerce?

ОтветитьOne of the best disinformation videos I’ve ever seen!
ОтветитьAs a Mass native, I laughed, I cried, I regretted every second of this video.
ОтветитьWorcester is a drug hole, what are you talking about?
ОтветитьLike the video, but it drives my crazy that you do not pronounce the names of towns and cities correctly. Born and raised in mass. It is like nails on chalkboard hearing you say names.
ОтветитьDon’t forget NORWOOD AND WALPOLE
ОтветитьHow the hell did this dollar store text-to-speech AI voice come closer to pronouncing Worcester correctly than most actual humans do?? I mean yeah it still pronounced it wrong but at least it wasn't "Wor-Chester" or "Wor-Kester" like most non-New Englanders say it....
ОтветитьPlease learn to pronounce the towns here. Worcester is not one of the best places in MA. Not sure where you are coming up with that one.
ОтветитьStay away from Pittsfield
ОтветитьTaxachucetts
ОтветитьThis guy has no idea of what’s he is talking about. I’ve lived in Mass. all my life. It is a blue state and the new governor Healy is destroying our state. If you are smart don’t waste your time coming to mass. You would be sorry.
ОтветитьNorthampton is now over run with homeless and an opioid epidemic. Northampton is also way over priced and most of the galleries and venues are now vacant. Don’t move to Northampton
ОтветитьTotally omitted the Berkshires in the very western end of the state. Probably the worst one of these I have seen yet. Butchered almost every town's name.
Ответить$ 2000. Will get you the hood with rats roaches and crime ..its bad know THANK YOU DEMONRATS
ОтветитьMassachusetts where people send their children to get brainwashed at very high prices...send them to California its cheaper
ОтветитьDONT MOVE HERE !! ITS BEING OVER RUN BY ILLEGALS !! ONE OF THE BEST STATES FOR WELFARE !!
ОтветитьBeing a native, these are no way near the "best" places to live in MA, also they are the most expensive, and elitist, especially Boston, Cambridge, and anywhere on the Cape, also the traffic there really sucks, expect to spend 2+ hours a day on your commute of 30 miles total round trip. Yeah, it's that bad! Been there done that. There are 351 towns and cities in MA, most are small rural farming/fishing communities, Worcester and Boston are the worst places to live in the state, highest crime and rent areas. Obviously whoever made this video never lived in MA, The South Coast has the best of all the MA features, and none of the traffic and overpriced tourist trap crap, followed by the foothills of the Appalachians in western MA, north and west of Worcester. Those along the northern NH/VT border region as well as the borders of RI and CT. Stay away from the cities unless you are a city dweller and prefer that kind of lifestyle, then New Bedford or Plymouth would probably be best for you if you really want historical culture and amazing dining, art and music scenes without all the traffic and obscenely high rents and properties. Anywhere in MA you will enjoy good schools, and amazing landscapes, with lots of trees, water, hills, and winding cow path roads filled with historical buildings and smart ass people who don't really put up with BS. Real People who actually matter, and know their history, and their responsibility to be leaders. At least that has been my experience over 56 years here.
ОтветитьCon chord? 😂
ОтветитьMy parents bought there 2 family house in cambridge in 1968 for $26,000 ,in 2017 we sold the house for 1.4 million. The buyers completely gutted the house and put over a half million into it then sold it as two units for 1.25 million each and thats nothing compaired to the houses in the rich neighborhoods
ОтветитьSalem is pronounced sale-um.
ОтветитьWorcester is pronounced Woosta. Really.
Ответитьnobody can afford to move there.
ОтветитьDear MS Hi, How is everything.
My first choice for living in Boston is Cambridge. Second choice is Beacon hill in Boston
Third choice is Concord, with a larger lot size and near a golf course. Best Wishes and Profound Regards.
Ch Zaheer Babar Warraich Advocate.
no crap ., Mass is the most expensive place to live in Merikkka ., WE SUCK.. , If you aint from here bro , dont come up here bro..
ОтветитьEver since I was young i always wanted to live to Massachusetts. I’ve visited Boston and Cape cod and loved it . But unfortunately had to go back to New York where I been at all my life but if I had a choice I would move to cape cod
ОтветитьGrew up in Dorchester. Lived in Quincy, Brockton, and Randolph before finally leaving back in 2012. Best decision of my life; I live in Texas now. I do miss the seasons (mostly the fall, the trees are just gorgeous) and the great food. Outside of that, I hate MA 10/10 will never visit again.
ОтветитьMy family has been in Massachusetts for 400 years. This video is a poor representation of what it's like to live here. Please disregard.
ОтветитьI love Massachusetts wanna move there ❤
ОтветитьOK, let's fix a few pronunciations:
Cambridge is Came - Bridge
Amherst accent on the second syllable "herst"
Falmouth - not "fall" as in the season but the" al "is pronounce like the mans name "Al"
Northampton is not North-ampton it's North Hampton. Yes we add the missing "H"
Worchester is Wuss-ster
Salem is Sa-lem (Say - limb) not Sal - em
would love to hear him pronounce Billerica, Leominster, Haverhill and Quincy just to name a few. (snicker snicker)
I love Massachusetts!!!
ОтветитьBring born and raised in Massachusetts it was driving me nuts how he was pronouncing the names of the towns.
Ответить(east) falmouth-err here, lol. Its absolutely bipolar weather, and i would not trust boston.. Always side-eyeing boston and hyannis, alot of shootings.
ОтветитьI live in SC and they're racists here
Ответитьi was born and raised in massachusettes still here matey
ОтветитьIt’s pronounced “wuss-ster”
ОтветитьMove there if you’re a good democrat and keep your shit woke policies to yourself. Mr Wonderful labeled the state “investable”. Stay woke
ОтветитьIt’s a nice democrat run state with rino sprinkles.
ОтветитьDiverse 😂😂
ОтветитьI HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO MOVE TO MASSACHUSETTS. I REALLY WANT TO MOVE.
