Amazing video, the best! How many mylar rolls did you use for this setup?
ОтветитьVery creative awesome image. Interested to check out your advanced educational option.
ОтветитьWould this work with a black backdrop?
Ответитьbrilliant! and congrats on your award👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼well deserved! ☯️🖤🤍🖤🤍
ОтветитьWhy lower the shoulders?
ОтветитьIs it continuous light or impulse?
ОтветитьGreat tips on editing also. Love the final edit shot.
ОтветитьMylar is a polyester sheet material, developed in the 1950's, it 's first use was as a drawing surface in the Architecture/Engineering fields. What you are using became known as a Space Blanket, when it was fused to various metals to make it heat reflective. It was used in the NASA space program in the 1960's in various places. Most visible is on the Apollo Lunar Lander as a heat reflective surface.
ОтветитьMay I ask if you have a link to the star-filter used please? and what number it was. I bought one recently, but I can't see any change or sparkles in my images at all, I have used the right type of styling/make-up and light - so very odd! I'm wondering if it's broken perhaps... Thanks Lindsay :)
ОтветитьSome great magical vibe from 2000s. That's pretty cool

Why do u always go with the iso400 in most of ur studio shots? Why not iso100-iso200?
ОтветитьThank you Lindsay, can you please share where you sourced the large seamless Mylar roll you had on the floor of your set?
ОтветитьWhere can we order the filter ?
ОтветитьWhy doesn’t this have a million likes this was so perfectly explained and the image is wow breathtaking 🫶🏼😍
Ответитьhi , can it be done with only profoto b 10 ?
ОтветитьThank you for this :)
ОтветитьWow love watching you. You are fabulous
ОтветитьI love this star filter! How did you do that? With Photoshop? Or with a lens?
ОтветитьI live in Vietnam . Does this course have Vietnamese transcription?
ОтветитьWoow beatyful picture

ОтветитьThank you for making such an interesting and varied video
Ответитьfantastico
ОтветитьYesterday purchased 5m of mylar😂 Thank you Lindsay🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьVERY Interesting! I think you outdid yourself this time.
ОтветитьMylar is great to work with. I recently did a portrait with a male model for a fashion shoot. Mounted onto V-Flat for a reflective look.
Going to have to try this with the roll left over. Warning about mylar. It leaves fingerprints very easily. Wear gloves to setup your shots.
Wow what an amazing image and breakdown! Thank you Lindsay Adler for sharing so much through your wonderful channel.
Ответитьgorgeous! ❤️🔥
ОтветитьThis is so cool, thank you
ОтветитьAs always... magical, creative, crystal clear and spot on! Thank you Lindsay👍🏼

ОтветитьI absolutely LOVE this look and image! Ive recently been inspired by your star filter use and bought one, and when I used it with a harsh light, didn't get this amazing result. Any suggestions or tricks to really get the star filter to burst like this?
THANK YOU for your knowledge and sharing with the photo community!
Amazing results and great explanation Thank you😀
ОтветитьThank you for this video, I have tried so many things to get this look even trying to create in photoshop and have never been satisfied enough to try with a client. I had never heard of using mylar till now and I just ordered a roll and now planning to use for upcoming swimsuit session.
Ответитьits so beautiful . thank you for sharing this technique .

ОтветитьWhat kind of star filter do you use? I bought one but it barely picks up any stars. 😢
ОтветитьSo stunning. I’ve had two rolls of Mylar sitting in my studio for six months now. Now I need to use them!
