To be fair, the women who didn't help did so for a few reasons. Yes, helping is kind but let's not act like it goes unpunished sometimes. Reasons for ignoring: 1. It's not their problem. 2. She is not their daughter and they feel like her mother should have prepared her. 3. They worry that her mother would get upset with other women teaching her daughter about menstruation (moms can be VERY protective of their kids) 4. They don't have time to stop.

Personally, if I saw that irl, and was near my parents and no one was helping id ask if i could help her. The best way is to kindly come up to her and remind her that there is possible blood on her pants. And if she could go into a store to check if it was coming from that area. And if so, if it came from her vagina, she could easily receive a pad from me.

I thought I was dying, and i used tissue to replace it with a pad as I doesn’t have a pad because my first period happened at school
