Having an airlock (2 doors with a hallway between them) also helps keep it insulated. Heat is only transferred in 2 ways: through closed doors, which is slow, or through vents/open air, which is fast. If you never have both doors open at once, you lose very little heat.

Don’t forget to double wall it so the heater don’t have to work as hard. Personally I’d make it a lil bigger and make it a pawn or slave room that way they’re always close to their work.
