SUMMER IN DUBAI, WHAT TO EXPECT?!

We are from Sweden and planning on visiting Dubai in the beginning of august but little worried about the heat coz we have little kids who ofcourse are not used to high temperatures and also worried about outdoor activities and swimming in the see, what du u recommend?

I say be indoors by midday and come out at night/ sunset. Would u say that’s fair?

Now it’s April 2023. Yeah, spring. Not cold, not hot. Sometimes windy. Sometimes cool during early morning. The good thing during summer in Dubai is the full bloom of fire or flame trees. And yeah, June to August are not recommended for visit. Dec to Feb are the best months.

Ofc for a Scandinavian person it’s gonna be insane heat. Like when you’ve landed and exit a plane in a middle eastern or North African country in mid June or July the heat hits you like crazy. I’ve experienced 48˚C in Qatar and I think for most people you will get used to it pretty quickly. Not saying it will be comfortable like normal but you won’t be having too much problems

Hello there Vlad. I currently live in Romania, pursuing college (computer science). I also lived about 5 years in Toronto Canada. I always admired the culture of the middle east and the amazing things they've built, especially in Dubai. I was thinking of moving there at some point in my life. From research, I've discovered that the Technology field is very much "under-developed" with salaries not so high (low actually) compared to european/states salaries with the main focus being on real estate and oil (of course :) ). The startup scene is as well not much developed. From this point of view, I'm quite at a disadvantage, but I hope to see change in the future, since Dubai wants to be the best city in the world :) . At some point in the video you said that the weather in Dubai is humid. I thought that being in the desert, the weather and climate is actually dry. From my experience living in Toronto (where the weather is actually very humid), I've come to realize that the humidity actually makes it even worse, making it feel like it is 10 degrees more and makes it hard to breathe.
