I got myself inside a star of a binary system and the game simply pulled me out of that star, it was a really messy bug. It happened twice, but I reported the bug and that didn't happen since them.
ОтветитьHow I lost my first Crusader... lol
ОтветитьAnd I thought binary systems gave me the creeps...
ОтветитьBeware of the HEGA BAG!
Ответить3 bodies problem
Ответить3 bodies.
ОтветитьElite is such a magical experience, just wish it wasn't dying this hard 😢
ОтветитьOnce supercruise assist helped me drop out of supercruise when inwas going way too fast and when i dropped i almost slammed into the station i was trying to land at ive never jumped to a station and immediately been in range to request docking lmao i had no sheild either so i thought my python was gone 😂😂
ОтветитьBeautiful find, Commander!
ОтветитьThere are a bunch of systems like this, a few in the bubble. Its one of the many things in a elite that shouldn't exist but does due to the wonkyness in procedural generation.
ОтветитьThe terror evertime i jump into a neutron star or white dwarf like "I'm gtfo of here"
ОтветитьI like the one where you jump between two orange stars to a white dwarf or something
ОтветитьThis is why I fly cold running exploration ships and always pack heat sinks no matter how cold they may already be. I'm not dying to bullshit butt buddy stars.
Ответитьit has no weaknesses...
Ответитьemmmm, no
ОтветитьYou call this heart attack?
You can litterally jump into a system jumping through the secondary star (which you see happeneing in a split second) and ending up inside the exclusion zone. Talking about heart attack especially when you are 50kly out exploring.
They even had one such system on the optional checklist for the first Distant Words expedition (3302) iirc. They gave the system the name "The wicked sisters" or something like that. "I was there! I have seen it!" :)
Nice jump animation you got there
Ответитьif you turned and went the other way its no heat , this is not a heart attack 6 neutrons and you drop in at the exclusion zone of one is scary
Ответить3 stars this close makes no sense, one would either fall on another or eject from system by 2 others
ОтветитьSo I'm a total noob here but how do you manage to jump 165Ly and spend so little fuel on it? What FSD and engineer mod do you run?
ОтветитьIts fine
ОтветитьThe jump range 🤯
ОтветитьThe first time I did this was a couple of weeks in and I nearly shat myself. Then I found new horror with the first black hole. And then I experienced the Quasar! All of them loosens the bowels some.
Ответить"Heart attack" system? What exactly is so scary abo- HOLY [assorted profanity]
ОтветитьHegaa like “OH MY GAAAAAAA”
ОтветитьJus got the game ps5 .. anyone play this game add me OG-Capo--- psn. Let me know where u got my name if added.
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьI'm just going to squeeze between you two, excuse me. "warning taking heat damage"
ОтветитьTHREE suns in a triangle? By the ass of thargoids...that's a lucky find o.o. Two in a close orbit to oneanother was the best I found so far. You wouldn't even squeeze through with a sidewinder.
Ответитьi think the system name means (HE)lp GAAAAAAAAAAAA BAAAAAAAAAA-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
ОтветитьHeart attack system? But it didn’t even throw you directly through one of the stars?
ОтветитьDon’t auto dethrottle at stars. Keep moving while turning away from the stars that are closest. When you burn your hand on the stove you don’t keep it there or move closer.
Ответить:writes down system name on "Never Go Here" list:
ОтветитьAh, the good ol' familiar "Friendship drive charging". ...OMG I'm in HELL...literal HELL!
Actually, this wasn't too bad. Many explorers have run into far worse.
About two weeks ago I jumped into a system and passed right through the secondary star. All I heard in my head was "jumping through hyperspace ain't like dusting crops boy!"
Ответитьi wish the game took advantage of these great systems with accretion disks around black holes and and more effects in close binary/trinary systems like this 🙂
ОтветитьYou haven't lived in Elite until coming out of a jump puts you inside the exclusion zone of the secondary star causing you to immediately drop out of supercruse and start building heat like you have dropped in to hell its self. You go from a nice relaxing exploration cruse to utter terror and panic smashing literally every button you have because you cant remember what your heatsink button is in about 0.6 seconds.
ОтветитьCool! Uh...hot...ah, nail biting! Just needed a black hole.
ОтветитьWell. That was close, but once I actually drive through a star orbiting a pulsar. That was... Unexpected. Good to know Elite can do this to you any time. Future is Dangerous.
ОтветитьWhat ship is that? She's a beauty!
ОтветитьNow I don't know but are there really three stars in our galaxy that close together. Supposed to be a 1 to 2 scale of known things. But are there black holes with accretion discs and eating stars and are groups like this one possible?
ОтветитьDEPLOY HEATSINK, DEPLOY HEATSINK
ОтветитьWhat u meeeaaan, not even close bro, i went through a star a couple days ago on stream 😂
Ответить
