The scene of shooting at the stairway with a baby rolling down in a cart first and as in Battleship Potemkin, classic 1925 Soviet film. Obviously, the scene in Untouchables was inspired by that.

'Deboarding' the steam locomotive ... to clear the track with scant yards / meters left before impact, then reboarding? Heck, Jackie Chan just deboarded as it was about to hit a dead end [/ left unexplained in final cut IIRC]...

Damn, I just rewatched The Untouchables and the stairway scene in that one was shockingly bad, it's funny how this parody actually makes more sense. Like, The Untouchables establishes one sailor sitting down by one of the pillars down in the hall, but once the shooting starts there are suddenly two sailors in the middle of the stairs cut down by stray bullets, it's all just a bunch of random people getting shot all over the place without context or sense.
