This video was very informative can u make a video for space mouse , does it work to pan objects on pixelmator pro, corel, affinity for mac book
ОтветитьThat airmouse looks like a cheaply manufactured emergency solution for navigating through powerpoint presentations.
If you don't have athrosis just use a normal lightweight ambidexterous mouse thats small enough to easily rest in your hands without requiring a lot of force like logitech g305.
And basically dont ever buy anything from Razer, unless your willig to sacrifice ergonomics for quickly accessable macro buttons.
If you have a lack of space a trackball like Kensington Orbit or Logitech Trackman might also be a good solution.
You should try the Bluetooth elecom realcon handheld track ball mouse. By far the best moouse I've ever used.
ОтветитьHave you ever tried something like a Wacom tablet? I use one. To work with photoshop but sometimes I get lazy and use it to every thing else
ОтветитьFor 3d modelling, nothing beats a pen tablet.
ОтветитьDont trust vertical mice, they are even worse
ОтветитьI've been using the Logitech Wireless M570 Trackball for more than a decade. I like it so much I've got a few in stock, knowing they don't last forever and the M570 seems near phaseout. I guess they usually last me 2-3 years.
ОтветитьI thing your vertical maus is dont match with your Hand. Its L size, you need M size.
ОтветитьHey I'm three years late to the party, still I'm testing a vertical mouse which is more comfortable for the thumb.
You can find it as " anker vertical mouse" or as "trust verto vertical mouse".
It's cheap as well. 🤑
Just buy a slim expert mouse from Kensington and be g de one with it.. is the best
Ответитьyour voice is so calm and soothing, i almost slept while watching your video =^.^=
Ответитьyou look good for your age. usually neotenous features look pretty bad after a certain point
ОтветитьI use Logitech g pro x lite for CAD work. It is lightweight wireless gaming mouse but it works better that any trackballs or space mouses for CAD work. I fount space mouses and trackballs can be somehow useful for amateur user or low skill users or just for demonstration your 3D models because of it feels like they have more natural control, but a regular gaming mouse works better for professionals because of it has more precise control and unlimited speed so you can work faster once you gain skill.
ОтветитьGood points on vertical mice. I always wished for something like a pinky ring (similar to what is found on a musical instrument like the Horn in F/Bb).
ОтветитьWTF?
Having Wrist Pain is not normal using a mouse for a longer period of time.
claiming it would be more natural, to have a vertical handposition makes u loose all ur credibility.
The Trackballs u used are just garbage...
U never thought about a Trackpad?
Clicking on a vertical mouse uses tendons in the forearm wich is leading in pain and makes u over time just sick in the whole arm below the ellbow...
Trackball does help while vertical mouse is a joke. I had a lot of pain with a vertical mouse simply because every time you click you also have to use your thumb. That's a joke.
ОтветитьTry the Logitech MX Vertical, it is a vertical mouse better designed for people of all hand types, it has helped me a lot with hand comfort on prolonged use of a computer.
ОтветитьI think the handheld mice are more targeted towards people giving presentations, for people standing in a meeting etc.
ОтветитьI love Lindy...
ОтветитьWhat mouse would you recommend for 3D modeling with Daz Studio and Poser Pro?
Ответитьprofessional 3d modeler that doesnt use a mac? respect.
ОтветитьI could listen to your voice all day. :)
ОтветитьTaking off the palm rest was a bad idea. I have a similar mouse Deluxe m618 and when I lay my hand on the palm rest I don't have to hold my mouse almost at all. Remove your arm supporting pillow and your hand is going to lay on palm rest pressing the mouse just by the weight of the hand. then you don't have to move your wrist at all setting the mouse speed to low. Precision comes with time. I'm able to play competitive shooter games with this mouse with good results so it's doable.
Ответитьwhats the model of your pc
ОтветитьYou should have made sure you got the right vertical mouse size for your hand size. Issues you had are not fault of manufacturer but yourself.
ОтветитьAfter using ALIAS for almost 20ys I started do have a lot of pain at the tip of the index and middle fingers. I will have to find a way otherwise my career is over! :( A combo of the 3D Connexion will be my next try. As we use the middle button quite a lot in ALIAS for menus and 99% of the mouses have the scroll button, that hurts, a lot. I've been using a classic HP no scroll mouse with soft foam on top + compression gloves at this point. So, people, take care of your hand. Always give support for your wrist and if possible start right away to use the angled mouse.
ОтветитьWhy not use dragon text to speech also to save on typing ? All these little changes add up and can reduce the stress on your hands.
ОтветитьNice hands do you nibble the nails
ОтветитьVery helpful! Thanks a lot!
Ответитьis the spacemouse worth getting just for the scrolling action? i don't do any 3d work but i imagine scrolling on the spacemouse will be quite a bit better than the scrollwheel on my trackball. i have RSI in the shoulders. in the past i've used the regular mouse (terrible), evoluent vertical mouse (relieved my carpal tunnel, but didn't relieve my shoulders) and most recently a kensington orbit which did help for a couple of years but now i'm finding the scrolling action quite painful.
if i do get the spacemouse i'll probably use it to scroll on my left hand while using the trackball to navigate with my right hand.
HI. Delux have vertical devices for three different palm sizes and the left-hand. I've recently ordered the Delux M618 Mini for testing. For vendors for Delux offer a size chart to check which will be best for your hand.
ОтветитьSuper helpful review, thanks! I'm thinking of getting the Space Mouse. I work with a pen on Surface devices. At the moment I'm using my pen with keyboard shortcuts to navigate and it works pretty well, but this seems like it'd make you feel more like you're physically handling the 3d objects.
Ответитьget an elecom huge or a kensington expert
ОтветитьNice video Lindy. Have you tried this vertical mouse from Evoluent: "Evoluent VM4RW Vertical Wireless mouse"? I have been using it for many years now, and I have not found anything better.
ОтветитьI created a little program called MyAlt for both Maya and Blender. It's purpose is to negate having to hold down any buttons (both for the keyboard and mouse) while doing standard orbit/tumble and pan operations. I love using it, but if you have a 3D mouse it may not be of use
ОтветитьMicrosoft used to make a really good track mouse, that I would use for CAD work. I had move to vertical mouse, since it is really hard to find good track mice now.
ОтветитьDXT Fingertip mouse is the best. The mouse pad you use is also important. The problem with most vertical mice is the weight and effort it takes to push, their angles also are not correct
ОтветитьGet the logitech xm vertical. Its a lot smaller and has USB type c to charge. Or the cheaper Trust vertical mouse its with wire but does the trick
ОтветитьAwesome review but WOW that laptop looks ancient
ОтветитьI do NOT like or recommend the track balls :( it was a learning curve and was nice when I didn't have much room on my desk, but it is causing pain now.
ОтветитьPain is caused by anxiety as much as equipment. Marriage isn't going to help the situation.
Ответитьyour voice is just so soothing i ended up watching this entire video without being in the market for ergonomic mice
ОтветитьGet yourself a Logitech MX Ergo.
ОтветитьI do 3d modelling, do you recommend the logitech ergo??
ОтветитьI read a Review in amazon that some one opened his Vertical mouse and found they add Weight to it! , I opened mine and it was there so i stopped use Vertical mouse i feel stress from it
Ответить
