ОтветитьThe still photography community is lacking behind on color grading because of the long lasting dispute of "organic", while cinematography world embraced this from the very beginning when technology was just available, the cinema/TV world is just more practical, without the burden of "art", because most of them are commercial visual products, all it matters is it "looks good" and "sales good". So after a long time the tools are becoming quite different also. I found that Davinci Resolve is much much better and I actually learn all this on video... The standard workflow of "color correction" -> "artistic color grading" in the cinematic world is very refreshing. In Lightroom everything is mixed up, you see a lot of videos mixing up exposure correction, color balance, and artistic grade all together, I think it's partly because of the Lightroom lacks of the node structure, it's just how it supposed to be done. I actually tried to grade stills in Davinci Resolve and I feel that is just more comfortable... Especially you have that bigger picture of the whole process. You video is very good only if I had seen it at first.
ОтветитьWas the first picutre taken at an airsoft event?? If so I think I just discovered another sick place to get some shots.
ОтветитьNice job -- you got to the point w/o 2-3 minutes of pointless BS. After many attempts on my part, I think I finally am beginning to "get" what color grading is about. Your reference to "splits" was helpful. As a new subscriber I offer a sincere "thanks" for this work.
Ответитьthank you
