Just sheared 2 bolts using one of these! Think I’ll take it back to basics !
Ответить😅😮😅😅😮
ОтветитьThis is a daft question, but I have hex head spoke nipples, could I use a 5.5mm socket and a torque wrench to get my wheels started when building
Ответить👍
ОтветитьWhen you are tighting stem bolts on a mountain bike shouldn't the black lever on the torque wrench be turned to the left
ОтветитьI have that torque wrench by Trek, but I can't seem to change the bit. Any suggestions to how that could be done?
ОтветитьVery helpful! Thankyou. 👍👍
ОтветитьHow do i know which top piece to put on my torque wrench?
ОтветитьOk so I have a Giant Trance off roader, stem says MAX next to the Nm torque number. Ok easy. But my Giant TCR just says 5.5Nm. so is that also MAX or Recommended ? Thanks in advance
ОтветитьLol, yesterday i lost on of my stem bolts
ОтветитьCan you use one of those universal torque wrench adapters that fit on all types of bolts?
ОтветитьReally good video, which made me decide to head straight over to the bike shop to have the pros take care of my bike. Torque wrench - eek!
ОтветитьThis is my third vid on using torque wrenches but the first to mention bolt lubrication. As yet, I've never seen a torque spec state dry or lubed ! CRAZY !
ОтветитьThanks for the most helpful practical lesson. Now I know how to deal with my carbon fiber bike. Namaste.
ОтветитьDo i actually need a torque wrench? Got a carbon bike and don't want the risk of over-tightening bolts, but been told by other cyclists that u can just do it by hand
ОтветитьThat’s crazy if something say 5nm why would you tighten it to 4nm
ОтветитьMe: *Can’t ride a Bike*
Also me: *watches bike maintenance videos*😂
My bike is brand new. No torque markings anywhere. Is that more common on carbon, cuz I don’t have carbon?? Thx
ОтветитьI had to pause the video to give you a thumbs up 👍🏾. I just invested in a torque wrench that actually came in by mail today, cheers.
ОтветитьHoly crap u look a lot like reddie redmayne
ОтветитьThanks for the video! Everytime I searched for something about bicycle, GCN has a video to offer.
ОтветитьHi, how do you reduce torque if too tight ?
ОтветитьHelo, can i use torq 6Nm to my seatpost is written 7Nm in my seatpost's hole? Because i dont have 6Nm torq
Ответитьnot pounds per foot. pounds * foot. Pounds per foot would be a unit of pressure, not torque.
ОтветитьThe manual that came with my road bike reads: "DO NOT under-tighten fasteners. Part may slip or fail to function. DO NOT tighten the fasteners too tight. You may damage the thread, which may cause an accident".
Ответитьwhat does 60 + 10 Nm mean?? as a specified torque
Ответитьhello simon sir, can you please tell me how much range of newton-meter is enough for any expensive bike? because some torque wrench comes with 2-15 nm and some with 2-24 nm . does smaller range torque wrench is good than large range for maintenance? thanks
ОтветитьWhy don’t they make the click more prominent? It’s practically unnoticeable that I’m constantly afraid I’ll miss it and over tighten something. Do they make any ones that just free spin after they reach the requested max force? Thanks!!!
ОтветитьGreat video, more people should be aware of the importance of correct bolt tightening!
ОтветитьClick-style torque wrenches are fairly expensive. could you do a video comparing a click-style vs a beam-style TW?
Ответитьyou are aware t-shirts are produced in sizes other than small right?!
ОтветитьWhat brand and model of torque wrench were you using in the video?
ОтветитьDAMN YOUR ACCENT IS ANNOYING AS HELL!!!
ОтветитьWhy do I only get arabic subtitles for this video
Ответитьشكرا يالنعيمي على الترجمة للعربية
Ответитьso if it's 5nm you got do it at 4nm? isn't it gonna be to lose? and why dose it say the amount of nm on the components!
Ответитьcan someone help me ? my rocker bolts on mtb say 125*200 in/lbs torque... what is that in Nm ? i just cant figure this out haha
ОтветитьNo matter the torque you buy, will there always be a scale on it?
ОтветитьWhich wrench to buy with fixed torque? Can I use the 5 Nm wrench for 5 Nm. I am asking because Si told to use 20 % less torque than what is marked on components? Do I need a 4 Nm torque wrench then?
Ответитьwhat if my enigne bolts not written on it its suitable toruqe , what should i do then ?
ОтветитьWhat brand of torque wrench are you using?
ОтветитьAny guides on how to choose a road bike when you are a big bloke, i am 191cm and around 126 kilograms, not even sure a carbon bike would work for me, not to mention they do cost a lot, so pricey to buy if you can't use it :)
ОтветитьThe SI requires a space or a half-high dot between unit symbols to indicate multiplication. I hate seeing 'Nm' on pieces of kit.
ОтветитьWhat is the name of the first torque wrench you used in the video and how much does it cost.
ОтветитьReally like your T-shirt
ОтветитьYou guys really are running out of things to make videos of! see if you bothered to cover MTB as well you'd have content for the winter when the roadies are on their turbo trainers!
