loved the departure from the original formula, arceus is what pokemon should be, but it still has room for improvements

hopefully darkrai and one of those legendary pokemon dont count toward the pokedex bc if they do that SUX

Waited until a few days ago to get this game and I am absolutely loving it! Such a shame that scarlet and violet are dog turds compared to this gem.

My only real complaints are a lack of tough trainer battles (I’m about 20hrs in and beat the first noble Pokémon) and I’m not a huge fan of the roster. There are some absolute bangers in the roster, especially all the samurai themed Pokémon like Delucidie etc. But there are some of what I would call the goofy art style ones. Examples range from Pokémon like Bidoof where every evolution just looks dopey and goofy and annoying to Magmortar, where the 3rd evolution deviates too much from the OG art style. I don’t remember which generations started adding these lame looking Pokémon but the art director needed to stfu and stick to the established style of the OG pokemon rosters (gens 1-3).

I’m loving the whole pioneer/samurai themes, the “Monster Hunter”-ness, as well as being able to catch everything and all the upgrade systems.

Honestly if they had spent more time on it, made things looks better, less rushed, it’d be a perfect Pokemon game. As it sits it’s pretty darn good.

I will be picking this up tomorrow. I been looking for a zelda like pokemon. I like the old school play but this new school version with 3d looks amazing. Been about 10 years since I played one and I think this is the best over scarlet and violet. My opinion cause I'm not a expert at pokemon games but this one appeal to me. Thanks for vid

You can always catch both of the legendary i have them both

Why does this game look so much better than Pokemon Scarlet/Violet

You can get both forms if you talk to both irida and adaman after you catch both they give you the items to change forms of both

The game is really good in terms of realistic stuff like dodging and getting hit by Pokemon moves. Also collecting data of pokedex instead of trading is unique thing. But one thing I abhor about galaxy team stuff is-
1. Galaxy team being extremely broke. You're not paid for life threatening missions but only to complete pokedex, you get small satchel instead of bag to survive and collect stuff. Kamado makes you run like you're some random trooper.

I appreciate the level of accessibility this game offers for casual Pokémon enjoyers such as myself.

You get both Palkia and Dialga, no matter which of the two clans you'll follow. But if you care about which of these goes in the Origin ball choose:
Pearl clan to get Dialga in the Origin ball.
Diamond clan to get Palkia in the Origin ball.

I was so happy they got rid of trade evolutions because now I can finally play with the team I always wanted but never had because I didn't have anybody to trade with like hitmonchamp and Alakazam

If there's something that tells me, that Falcon is younger then me, it's that he has a clue about Pokemon xD

I just started the game a few days ago and I'm already pissed off with the battle style, especially when it's 3 or 4 vs 1 (doesn't make sense and no way you're surviving the battle)

I love the moves change. You dont lose a move and you can customize them which i felt maximizes the strength of the pokemon
