China's population has grown from 667.07 million in 1960 to 1.43 billion in 2023. This is a 113.7% increase in 63 years. The highest increase in China was recorded in 1966 with 2.83%.
China's population growth slowed because of the one-child policy instituted in 1979. In 2015, China ended the one-child policy and began allowing married couples to have two children. It expanded the allowance again in 2021, permitting up to three kids.
China's current population is 1,425,671,352, a 0.02% decline from 2022. The 2022 data shows a declining population for the first time since 1961.
Current forecasts project that China's population will shrink by over 100 million people by 2050. By the end of the century, China's population may dwindle to less than 800 million.

In reality, China is also venturing into pumped storage. Solar and wind energy, in fact, are not stable and need to be stored at first in most cases. Pumped storage stations are currently the most reliable method for energy storage. I am confident that Bloomberg will take note of the fact that Chinese companies build new pumped storage plants worldwide within 2 or 3 years. As a Chinese person, I must say that if the United States sees China as a rival, the competition will be fierce. However, if the United States sees China as a co-competion 'object', it will create a long-lasting relationship.

The fake reporting. If the guy don't know how Chinese feel about nulcear it's just because he doesn't speak Chinese and doesn't know how China government works. Of course Chinese can protest against nuclear if they don't like it. They protested years ago against the Shanghai maglev extension because of the fear of electromagnetic field. So please stop reporting fake thing about China and use people that speak Chinese and live there. Thank you.

GREEN ECONOMY TO GREEN GLOBE IS SMART IDEA. CHINA IS TRYING TO ACHIEVE THIS STRATEGY BUT THE REALITY IS REVERSE BECAUSE COUNTRIES ON THE WHOLE GLOBE STRIVE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM THAT RELATED WITH CLIMATE CHANGE AND CRISIS. BY SOLVING THE PROBLEM OF EMISSION FROM ENERGY SECTOR WE CAN CHANGE MANY GLOBAL CRISIS. REPLACING FOSSIL FUEL WITH RENEWABLES IS THE BEST SOLUTION TO CC PROBLEM. THANK YOU

So, in this logic, it is not healthy for a human body to be dependent on the heart for plumping blood.....It's not healthy for the EU to depend on the US for military "protection" against Russia. And it's not healthy for the US to depend on scientists from around the world...But of course, dare the world think that it's not healthy to depend on the US for financial market and "democracy"? LOL Why are such media having so much double-standard for things they wanted to control but have lost? And why is it so hard for western media like this to embrace an interdependent world with truly equal partners that true globalization is defined in? I think perhaps the answer lies in the "original sins" the West had conducted in its own colonial history and capitalist industrialization for the hegemony power that it is now losing.

UPDATES! China has also been a huge developer of electric vehicles. It is currently producing around double of what the EU has produced and is over-shooting the projected production of electric cars needed to get to net zero carbon emissions by 2025. The country is putting a lot of effort into keeping its promise and it seems to be working.

If this project is done by Western country it will be all praise for sure.
