The reason why this is free to use because there are electronic engineers watching and going through your files to steal your ideas/intellectual property. You might be in the process of designing the next new electronic invention, but easyEDA is right there at every step waiting for that moment where they patent the new gadget before you do.

Very bad tool. I've wanted to test the EasyEDA and was very surprised.
I couldn't create a project as there is shown in the tutorial and i've
got an empty Error, there is written " Error" without any explanation and description.
I'm very disappointed.

I've used easy EDA a few times, and it's very good, delivery can take a while (although I think you can pay more for faster delivery) all in all, a very good tool. And the PCBs are good too, best of all, inexpensive.

Can you show me how to make a simple oscilloscope?. I can’t afford to buy one atm.

I recommend reviewing Designspark PCB from R S Components.

And they charge you 3x the price of parts for manufacturing as they don't accept parts, which are not in the Easyeda library and don't accept drop ship to them.

This needs an update, EasyEda has come a long way in the 4 years since this video :)

Am quite new to PCB Cad software. I find EasyEDA very useful however am finding with Mosfets etc am forever getting "conponents with no simulation model". Anyone got any idea ?

I don't understand why all design tools/development environments are cloudbased nowadays? =/ Why would I want to store all my inventions/designs on some other buisiness harddrives? 🤦‍♂️ That's like giving a winning lottery-ticket to a total stranger on the street and telling him to keep it safe for you! xD

My experience with EasyEDA isn't that great. I tried to create a copper region after placing traces and it gave me errors because it wouldn't exclude the other tracks.

I've tried EasyEDA, KiCAD, and Eagle. EasyEDA is by far the easiest to use with a massive library of parts. However, one thing to note is that most of EasyEDA is purpose built to drive business to JLPCB using LCSC parts. If you live in the US the turn around time is about a month. This is something that is rarely mentioned.

Learning takes time and it is not nice when online tools sooner or later gets changed or closed at all.
I would prefer offline stand alone tools, for example Proteus or Eagle.

I've done my first few PCBs through Easyeda. More intuitive to use than eagle and it's free and I can use it anywhere with a browser (mostly, need a mouse).

I would like to see other software reviews. I feel so clumsy stumbling around from one program to the other and this review helps coming from a trusted source like you. I did read that easyEDA will be coming out with a 2d view next month followed by 3d view later.

I tried EasyEDA for two days, and it's a buggy nightmare; especially for trying to get it to do a simulation. Should be called HardEDA.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD EASYEDA?

PDF is a vector format and is also directly printable. So no need to export it to SVG, import it into Inkscape, scale it up, export it back as a PNG and still have a pixelated image.. just print the PDF.
