The crazy thing is that Corrin is actually a great and compelling character whenever he/she is not being handled by the Fates writers.

I know I said it in the Worst Units vid, but Makalov is the only character I've ever allowed to stay dead. Yes, his character played a huge role in that. Marcia is now debt free because the people Makolov owed money to are just glad his shitiful existence has ended.

From my experience, at least 90% of fathers in FE can fit into a Venn diagram I call the 3 D's: Dastard, Deployable, and Dead. I can really only think of two exceptions, Waldemar and Leopold.

I made a villain a couple years ago for a game that never came out (game was called Opal’s Bizarre Adventure, or OBA)
His name was Khanan and he was basically Izuka but funnier. Then again, most of the characters in the game were based off the FE archetypes. He made this parasite that makes you go blind, cough up blood, etc, but at least he gets punched in the face by the main character (a sweet little girl) and they both have to be taken to the medical tent.

I though FE’s version of Yamcha was Lon’qu; they’re both decent warriors and afraid of women

It shows the quality of Fire Emblem’s writing that the first 5 on this list can reasonably be fixed.

I'm curious if there are characters that have the least haters. Some characters are unpopular compared to Celica/Eirika/etc. The popularity of Celica/Eirika/etc tends to drown out their haters.

Corrin and Camilla are among my favorite characters, I think I might be insane. Maybe because Warriors was my first introduction to FE and their writing was considerably better in it? I don't know. Either way, I don't care.

Everyone hates Makalov because he behaves like a real person. And a real asshole. Such people do not get better, the only way to deal with the problems that he causes is to throw him into the ditch and forget about his existence.

.........I want to make this clear. For a good chunk of the character's on this list I LITERALLY have NEVER played there games.......but gods give me strength I want to chop all there heads off with a double bladed axe and see them run like chickens.

Also, worst Character is Chrom, Lord of NTR. Damn You Chrom! Haha.

He makes Faye a changed girl in comparison to him. But Faye is better despite she can't stop saying Alm this and Alm that.

How come Corrin is in there if you haven't seen Smash ultimate and Fire Emblem Warriors are the Fire Emblem Fates you will see that Corrin is the boss because he has like Dragon Fang in Fates and smash ultimate I mean like come on man.

Ok some of these entries seem to be confusing poorly written with the character just being a bad person. Character like arcard, roartz, desmond and even izuka to an extent don't deserve their spots on this list Imo. All of the characters I just mentioned are villains that you're supposed to hate because they're not the main threat and purposely have these bad traits. They aren't your Zephiels or your Lyon's who are supposed to have understandable motives. Izuka is a character I can kind of understand because RD is supposed to have a more complicated and morally gray story, so Izuka being so weirdly incompetent and annoying is sort of off putting, but at the end of the day Izuka serves his purpose and I blame the issues with him on RD writing issues
