Very interesting, my old 682 has fixed 3/4 and full, I've often thought it would be nice to be able to back the chokes off a bit. Still getting great results though.

For doubles I've always found light mod and improve mod or 3/8 and 6/8. Work great.

Did you lean on the pattern board or is that the logo on your arm?

Full or extra full works for singles and handicap.

Great advice Russ. It still amazes me the distance we can break targets with even more open chokes. This really quantifies the reality of the distances esp wrt differing angles.

I've put shim c + hi-viz bigger
Now pattern 5/95 high

What shot size do you use most often, 7.5 or 8 shot?

Best I've ever shot was 112 straight at the police games with both barrels choked full off 15.

Would like to hear if you’r using steel or lead. In this part of the world, lead is forbidden. On clay’s and hunting. As you know, full choke is not possible with steel.

It’s all in the mind of you are in the target you’re on the target. Also just some food for thought the tighter the choke the longer the shot string.
