Nespresso Vertuo Pop - First use and Connectivity

For absolute beginners:

The machine only uses Nespresso pods.
Be fully aware that even if 3rd party coffee pods say "Nespresso compatible", they may not be. And you'll get a user error message via the led.

The pod must sit on the rim and push the head down once closed. The x2 red led error will show otherwise.

Anyway, I still haven't made any coffee yet 🙃 but the other downside so far is the user manual and set-up documentation is very cluttered. They've made something so very simple more complicated by adding multiple languages to every diagram. I felt like I had dyslexia because its information overload all at once.

No one talks about it? Is this the voice dude from in a nutshell? his voice is just so unique to distinguish.

Worst coffee machine I’ve ever had. The crema is like the foam you get from the sea at a polluted beach.
It lasted 5 weeks before hot coffee started pouring of the bottoms of the machine. Nespresso not interested in helping so back it went for a refund.

Hi, we just bought the machine and tried to conect it to our mobile phone but app is not available in Croatia. Is an app necessary for the machine to work properly?

Great machine and coffe but the cofeine content is so different and some hige amount that it should be written on the box

Wait so do you need Wifi to run this machine properly? I bought for my office but I can’t connect it to our work WiFi.

This machine is really annoying so far had only two cups of coffee, as you wait for coffee to dispense, light goes red! Nothing happens, nespresso said it’s over heating let it cool down …. A day later it’s still doing it, don’t waste your time and money

I like the color options but am concerned. Do these share the same mechanical/computer components as the Next machines? I had the most difficult time with them and apparently so did many based on reviews and would hate to wind up replacing this machine as frequently as I did the Next before I replaced it.
