Dealers and stock owners should sue the CEO and the board
ОтветитьClick bait. Thumbs down.
ОтветитьRotten title dude
ОтветитьThe road glide is wind tunnel tested. The faster it goes the smother it rides. I was going to but 2018 CVO street glide, took it for a ride on the highway. Went past a tractor trailer. The fairing took the bike all over the road from the wind turbulence. You need two hands on the handle bar. NOT the road glide a little from being pushed like any cross wind. I bought my 2006 RG. I will never ride a fairing mounted bike NEVER. The only issue I had was the headlights. Had the old element bulbs. Add the led. Problem fixed. I still own it with 99k.
ОтветитьI understand why you have so many subscribers..... your attitude.
ОтветитьIt wont run??????
ОтветитьGet a 2024. They don’t start lol
ОтветитьWhy u got to say indian and the. Show a indian man on a bike lmao
ОтветитьP. H. U. C. K. YOU COMMERCIAL.
ОтветитьGood luck when it breaks down......and it will.....
ОтветитьWhy does the title say "Why I will never ride my Harley Road Glide again" Stupid title!!!!!
ОтветитьThis is why I'll never ride my road glide again. Lol. WTH. I love my road glide.
ОтветитьWhat bullshit. There was never a mention of Why I Will Never Ride My Harley Road Glide Again. This was simply an ad for the Road Glide.
Ответитьstill way overpriced you get a better motor from indian...
ОтветитьMy only issue with the Harley touring bikes is the gear indicator not being visible with the clutch pulled in. However, I am use to not having it anyway. It would be convenient to be visible all the time though.
Yep, the lean angle is less than a sport bike, but not really similar offerings provided by Yamaha, or Kawasaki. Though the Honda does have a slight advantage. The Harley touring bikes with a 19" front, and 18" rear wheel do not handle as well in my opinion as the FLHTK model which has 18" wheels front and back. I have never once felt like a "Hippopotamus" while lumbering through the twisties on a Harley touring bike as suggested in the video however. It handles as well in these areas as any of the other similar offerings.
The transmission is agricultural. However, I would rather it be both tactile, and audible than squishy, and silent like a Goldwing, or Kawasaki.
On the road, the Goldwings do offer much better relief from wind. This is at the cost of feeling like you are in a car, rather than feeling the freedom of being on a bike. The Yamaha, and Kawasaki offerings are very similar to the Harley in this reguard. Which is why I like their offerings so much.
There is a major issue I have with these offerings from all the manufacturers. In my opinions they should all offer a fork mounted fairing for their designs. I am not fond of fixed fairings when entering in, and out of camp areas, or fairly wooded areas at low speeds. This is because of the direction the headlights are facing in relation to where I am turning the bike. It is also because I feel the stability in higher winds for fixed fairing bikes is not as good as on a fork mounted fairing. Wind forced against a fork mounted fairing helps aid in stabilizing the front of the bike. The fixed fairing seems to want to dart around slightly more in my opinion, though better than no fairing at all.
As for saddlebag storage. The top load feature lends itself better for not dumping your belongings out of the saddlebags when opened. The shape of the bags, though other offerings may have slightly larger capacities, lends itself better to storing more items, more securely as aftermarket organizers can be mounted more conveniently. I can still fit half helmets in both saddlebags, with jackets, and gloves, while also still having room for groceries if need be, or spare clothing for longer trips.
If you sprung for a Harley with a Tour Pack as I did, you will also find that it is the only tour pack on the market that offers the ability to store two full faced helmets with room to spare. Other offerings only have room enough to comfortably fit a single full face helmet, and you won't be stuffing a full face into their saddlebags either.
Just my opinion. Enjoy.
It’s 2023 and people still think the RG fairing “blocks more wind” than the SG lol
ОтветитьI demoed the Road Glide Special and loved it. But I couldn’t afford the 30K price. Bought a Low Rider S instead as the base model Road Glide just doesn’t exist around here
ОтветитьOH THE 107 AND CVO 114 CAME OUT IN 2017,THE 117 CAME OUT IN THE CVO IN 2018
ОтветитьThe title got me too!!! Love my RG ST!!
ОтветитьA friend pointed out on another friends bike what looks like a bolt missing on kickstand mount, so now we all start looking but have no idea. It’s threaded rusted so been out for a while, it looks like it could be a reservoir for oil to keep the pivoting oiled but can’t find an answer online, also watching videos hoping I can see if others have what is missing and just catch a glimpse even but nothing. Can someone please help last thing my buddy needs is an accident happening hurting him or others,
ОтветитьThe 117CI motor was released in 2016? On what bike? I work for a Harley dealership and don't remember that since the M8 didn't appear until 2017.
ОтветитьAh ha, they couldn’t even squeeze the hog lane filtering. Pootin
ОтветитьI've got a 2008 FLTR and its by far the best bike I've ever owned, but I must have missed something like why you wont ever ride your Road Glide again.
ОтветитьI'll take it off your hands! Those Road Glides are BADASS!
ОтветитьHigh quality 😂
ОтветитьShould be titled, “why my Road Glide is the best motorcycle on the planet.”
Ответить👎
ОтветитьMy next bike, the road glide.
Ответить?
ОтветитьHe hatin’.
ОтветитьHarley was … Indian Challenger is by far a much better bike. Hands down .
ОтветитьI’ve had my RGS for 4 years now. Ive had ultra limited, SGS, and a Heritage. None of these bikes compare to the ride and stability I have with my RGS. I love the stability of cruising down the road and not be blown around by gusts of wind or the wind wash coming from tractor trailers. I just glide right on by, no problem. If I were to pick 1 downfall for the RGS, it would be that some times it can be a bit of a challenge to maneuver in tight spaces due to its weight and the size of the fairing. Otherwise, I have absolutely no complaints about it. I love my bike and have had MANY compliments on it. I’ve even convinced buddies of mine to get one.
Ответитьshould have titled it why I'm trading my old Road Glide in? Although the prices are so high now, people will be NOT getting rid of their Harleys!
ОтветитьWould be helpful if you knew what you were speaking of. The M8 was released in 2017, not 16. Possibly a simple mistake but if your going to compare things , make sure you have the facts straight
Ответитьgonna be a no from me dawg
ОтветитьBecause it's junk
ОтветитьProduced in India rip off bot channel.
ОтветитьWhy I Will Never Watch Your Channel Again... 7 minute click bait advertisement. hopefully Harley paid you.
ОтветитьWHY???? You don't say! In fact, you didn't say. I guess I'll just keep riding my Road King.
ОтветитьCurrently have almost 100k on my RG, best bike I've ever ridden, although my Shovel and Dyna are equally fun in their own environments. I watched to see if there was something I was unaware of, waist of time! Why the clickbait??
Ответитьway to expensive
not liquid cooled
Indian , vaquero a lot cheaper
better comfortability and longevity
less maintenance
Been on HD since 1971 and Tour Glides and Road Glides since 1984 .. You don't want it anymore ? Send it to me I will give it a happy home ..
ОтветитьGotta love cruising up I17
ОтветитьYou never mentioned the topic in your title. Was this just supposed to be click bait?
ОтветитьThe comments are as off topic as the title for the video. If you don't like Harleys why are you here? If you want to tell everyone what you ride and how much money you spent on it there are other channels for that or simply use your own social media pages to advertise your awesomeness. Road glide vs street glide will never end its an ongoing battle of preference. Harley touring pricing is on par with other touring bikes. Metric touring bikes are faster but they still aren't Harleys.
ОтветитьHe’s a jap bike rider 😂😂😂😂
Ответить103 roadglide ultra great bike
ОтветитьIf you don’t hear a clunk when shifting a Harley there’s a problem
Ответить
