I really enjoyed this conversation and Alex's approach to connecting and documenting people. Well done!
ОтветитьThis is a great video!
ОтветитьThis kind of videos, metting photographers is just inspiracion
ОтветитьI like Alex' way to approach people. Such a nice guy and really not a typical street photographer by any means.
It looks like there's a lot going on in Tokyo, but somehow I can't shake the feeling that the people there are very relaxed and you get the feeling that there are absolutely no unsafe areas or that you have to be afraid of being mugged... Is it so or is it deceptive ??
I love how Alex has completely adopted the Japanese speaking mannerisms. “Mmm Mmm Mmm” 😂 he’s awesome. Great Video 👏
ОтветитьLove the content, and the interview. Very natural. Alex is really down to earth.
ОтветитьWoW! Me encanta este tipo de videos.
Y Alex es un ejemplo a seguir para los que nos gusta la fotografía de calle y retratar a las personas.
Un saludo!
Thanks Roman, really enjoyed that!
ОтветитьGreat interview with Alex! I can see he really thinks about his art of photography. This video has made me think about why i transitioned from digital to film photography, and I do think of my photography more of an art form and the joy it gives me as an art/creative outlet. Thanks Alex for sharing your viewpoint!
ОтветитьGreat interview. A joy to watch! Ps what is that wobbly effect with for and background?
ОтветитьI shoot digital and most of the time I store the SD cards and forget about them. It’s nice to go back and finally look at them later but then again I’m not an influencer or professional so it’s easier for me to sit on them. Lol
ОтветитьF*** yeah! (Up)vote for Alex!
ОтветитьI love this series and this episode was so inspirational! I'm one of those shy introverts who wants to take street portraits, many thanks Roman for asking the questions for us ❤
ОтветитьGood video Dude. While in Tokyo try to find JonnyDub for an episode
ОтветитьGreat video! I had the pleasure of meeting Alex while in Tokyo last year. A very talented and genuine person.
ОтветитьBeen a big fan of Alex! It’s great to see him showcased. Love his work
ОтветитьBest video yet, Roman! A lot of my Minolta(s) film days memories when I used to just take "pictures" & not photographs in my career travels over the decades. Happy with digital , but having second thoughts if selling my film equipment for a steal was such a good idea. Not going to dwell on the past though.
ОтветитьRoman -- thanks for this great video on Alex.
ОтветитьHi Roman and Alex. Really enjoyed the video. Interesting to see how Alex works and why. Ironic that Alex was attracted to the guys blue hair only to realise later he was shooting black and white. Great photos though. I bought a Yashicat many years ago but hardly used it. I never sold it because it was so beautiful, I think I may see if I can get some rolls of film and try again.
ОтветитьNot at all impressed with this guy. 🤨
ОтветитьGreat episode! Both very educational and motivational! Loved it!
ОтветитьWhat a fabulous video Roman😊
ОтветитьBrillant video….thanks
ОтветитьFantastic interview and Alex is a very nice person and great photographer📷👍🏼
ОтветитьI wonder if the fear of AI is making a difference about people feeling comfortable having a stranger take their photo in that they are not sure what might be done with it or how it will be used.
ОтветитьLove how candid you share all this info, that type of photography I have so stick in my head for a while.
ОтветитьExcellent interview!
Ответитьumm, Roman, you are so much better than this guy. apologies to Alex, but it's true
ОтветитьGuys this is really inspiring all I’d like to be able to do 🙌
ОтветитьAwesome video. I always like hearing other photographers processes.
ОтветитьFollowed Alex for some time, love his work!
ОтветитьHoly ... You got sunburned badly mate! Cheers for the video both of you :)
ОтветитьI’ve followed Alex’s work for a while, because of Samuel’s stuff with him. Dude kicks ass.
ОтветитьAlso, I get a lot out of this interview series. Hope you keep it going.
ОтветитьIn my opinion this is your best one yet. I instantly fell in love with Alex and his view on photography ! Thank you Roman !
ОтветитьReally enjoyed this interview and walk along. I've started following Alex. I like his approach to Street !!!
ОтветитьExcellent interview dude, given me a deeper respect for what you do, and a new photographer to follow.
ОтветитьThank you!!
ОтветитьGreat video. Roman, very good interview. Good questions. I like the way you interspersed Alex's images throughout the video. Alex's images are stunning. I like his style and demeanor. Very insightful. Good job.
ОтветитьGreat to see how Alex works and gains a relaxed situation.
ОтветитьDidn't look at the length of the video. Just noticed, that it got later and later the longer I watched.😂 45 mins, hot damn.
I didn't know Alex before, but he seems like a chill dude with a very distinct style and perspective. I really liked the interview (and his photography)
I presume that street photography is easier in Japan? People are probably more polite and welcoming, I presume. Would love to visit Japan. Great video!
ОтветитьThe moment he takes out his camera though 😃😍
ОтветитьGreat vid and love these meet ups with other photographers but I will never understand why people opt for film in this day an age, I heard what he said but it still made no sense to me, each to their own I guess but it just seems so inconvenient and expensive these days
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьDuude those guys with blue hair is such a miss (kind of) shooting everything in B&W! Could've been a stronger image but it looks great nonetheless! Thanks for sharing guys keep it upppp
ОтветитьWhat a genuine and nice person Alex is! Thoroughly enjoyed the interview and the wonderful photography, thank you!
ОтветитьThat was a masterclass!! Great interview and work!!!!
