Thank you for sharing, I bought jeans in the and short pants IN the US but tight on the waist, don't want to give it away, I like it very much now I know how to adjust the waistline , I kept it and thinking how to adjust it, now I know , thank you for Sharing....God Bless.
ОтветитьThank You so much. I Am so looking forward to doing this. I Am so happy to re-create, Upscale my Jeans. Yes!!! 😅
ОтветитьI bought a pair of hiking shorts, same size and model as my worn out shorts from the same brand.
However The new pair are way too small. And I’m dumb for not returning them for a bigger model and now it’s too late.
I found this video while looking for a solution while not having a sewing machine.
At 4 minutes into this video, I got inspired.
So Without sewing machine, but with a small piece of jeans fabric in a non-matching colour, strong thread in also a non matching colour, a needle, a pair of scissors, a small flat rock, a pair of pliers, and the audacity of a middle aged white man I just went for it and surprisingly I’m making progress.
One side is done and I’ll do the other one tomorrow, it’s won’t be all that pretty but it’ll be functional
So thanks for the inspiration
wasn't better to buy a larger one ?
ОтветитьThe three of them are lovely and professional! Thank you for sharing your experience and talents 😊
ОтветитьI like the first godet, but you are good period !

ОтветитьMadam, u r a genius n life saver! This is ultimate!
ОтветитьCould u show me out to do this on faux leather pants ?
Ответитьwhere can i buy that elastic? and is there a name for it?
ОтветитьAs ai get better with my sewing would like to try option 1 but definitely prefer option 2. Are you able to surge with a regular sewing machine?
ОтветитьThank you! I am facing this for 6prs. of work pants.
Ответитьy can use denim in sted of that black elastic band.Looks even better.
ОтветитьTHANK YOU SOOO MUCH! Even for some of us who can sew, this is a great way to keep the clothes that you love , and clothing no longer comes with seam allowance, making alterations hard to do. Thank you.🎉
ОтветитьThankyou ma'am for teaching how to fix elastic waist.
ОтветитьУ нас такая работа называется халтурой. Почему так неаккуратно-то? Да и резинку можно было подобрать в тон к джинсам. В таких теперь только в длинных свитерах ходить, чтобы закрыть зону пояса.
ОтветитьExcellent tutorial, thank you 👍 👖
ОтветитьNew subscriber 🎉
ОтветитьThankyou very much for this vids
ОтветитьTooooooooo good 👍
Specially the second one
Love u sweety
You helped a loooooottttttt
Opt 1, must neater.
ОтветитьThis is exactly what I was looking for! Very useful technique, no wonder there are over 21,000 likes! Thank you
ОтветитьCan you tell me what are those two presser feet that you are using for sewing the denims pls! New viewers from Scotland and I’m enjoying watching your video . Thank you !
ОтветитьVersion #2 is fine. I have been many sizes in my lifetime and my Grandmother, a professional seamstress, taught me to do this 60 years ago.
ОтветитьIf you topstitch along top it won't stretch? Don't you need to use a stretch stitch for that?
ОтветитьI'm a beginner sewer and I got this video right after a friend came home asking for a repair of her pants... I got an idea from your video on how to fix the problem. Allah bless you and to you channel. Thank you
ОтветитьThank you so much po
ОтветитьVery appealing work, really good ,
ОтветитьWould any of these techniques work on women’s trouser ? The trousers I Have are similar to the the video you have using the Royal Blue trousers to let the waist out … I would like to add a elasticity there on the side
ОтветитьCan I do this with trousers 🤞🏽🥴🤞🏽…
ОтветитьI love this channel
ОтветитьYou are an engineer!
ОтветитьYes yes 😅 and yes!!! That's awesome! Real Boss work!! I love ❤ all 3 ways! Thank you so very much 💖 for sharing your skill set with this online community. Yay!! 😅😅😊 May God continue to bless the work of your hands. ❤
ОтветитьOOh boy, I'm absolutely going to try the professional way! I've done method 3/ super easy, and I agree it's VERY bulky. I don't like it.
ОтветитьExcellent tutorial, I tried the second method and am very happy with the result. Thank You.
ОтветитьI love all the options you are absolutely fantastic
ОтветитьA wonderful tutorial!!!
I look forward to more of your lessons!!!
Because of hip surgery my left hip is swollen causing my pants to be tighter on that side. Thank you SO MUCH for this video! It has allowed me to wear pants that otherwise would have been unwearable.
ОтветитьThank you I was able to do the second one on a pair of pants. It helped a lot and made it easy and quick.
ОтветитьGreat
ОтветитьI’m going to see if this works on a pair of dress pants. I got a Anne Taylor pantsuit at the Macklemore goodwill for $6.99. Jacket fits fine, pants a little tight in the waist. It was NWT, and the retail price was $250. I like this elastic idea for the waist gusset! It sounds far more comfortable than what I was thinking of doing.
ОтветитьHow skilled 😃
ОтветитьThank you. Your video was very helpful. I like both methods.
ОтветитьReally appreciate you making these videos (also the lovely jean modification that added patterned fabric!)
ОтветитьThank you so much for another amazing video. This looks fairly easy, but I like the one where you replace the pocket, the best. Thanks again 😊
ОтветитьWill this work for shorts too? Not jean shorts.
ОтветитьWhere did you but the elastic roll
Ответить
