I love this song. I am thinking about choreographing my senior solo for dance to this song, because the lyrics are so beautiful.
In middle school, I met a boy at dance who was my age, only a few months older. We were complete strangers, I didn’t think much of him, just as another dancer in my lyrical group. Eventually, he started talking to me and I started talking to him since our moms started to become friends since we started carpooling to work around schedules.

Eventually, we became friends and texted each other almost daily. He doesn’t and didn’t go to my school.

Freshman year of highschool, I started to think he was good looking, but not in a crush type of way.

Summer into sophomore year and I heard from a few dance friends that he said he liked me. Like, crush like.
That sucked, because I just wanted to be friends, but didn’t want to break him.

I told him I definitely didn’t think he was bad looking at all, but I don’t like him back.


Now it’s my senior year. He ghosted me junior year and ignores me at dance.

I recently just broke up with my bestie. We were REALLY good friends. We met in the fourth grade, she made me dirty minded (of course) and we used to sit with eachother. We had So much fun, she told me her personal family stories, and vice versa. Needless to say, I had a teensy crush on her (Might be TMI) but I never said anything. Actually at that time we were closer and we would take her along to my choir concerts, she even got along with my dance freinds suprisingly. With a few days left of school, plenty of years later, she said she wanted a break, that maybe we could be friends later on. Fastforward to the last day of school, we had P.E so I was kinda upset but whatever. Well, she came up to me and basically repeated what she said earlier, but this time said she just wanted to move on. (That basically means that we are just never gonna be friends anymore). So, I'm sorry for this stupid silly rant. If she is reading this (I doubt she has the same music taste as me but whatever) I hope I did nothing wrong to you, and I hope you are having a good day. I know nobody asked for this, it was just a stupid rant, (I don't think I've ever written something this long willingly but anyways) but hearing the lyrics 'Isn't it strange, how people can change.
