I do hope that more people will stop using chromium browsers. All of them, not only chrome.

Personally I have no problem with YT making money from advertising. But since it was taken over the number, intrusiveness, banality and duration of ads has gone insane. It makes viewing YT content - which YT does not create - almost unwatchable. When they get a grip on their corporate GREED I will take off my adblockers.

Maybe they could fix a few issues for charging $19/$23 dollars a month.
1. Fix the algorithm recommending previously watched videos.
2. Fix the excessively laggy audio application keyboard on the PS5.
3. Provide a value outside of no commercials. No one pays because paying is not a good value over what is free.

Showing advertising on my screens on my computer is against MY terms and rules. My terms and rules always apply with the highest priority. Advertising is propaganda/brainwashing and it is unhealthy and potentially dangerous. The only circumstance where I would tolerate to actively watch advertising is if I get paid (handsomely).

If they made a 5 dollar option to only stop ads on all your devices, I might consider it. I don't care about literally 90% of the other shit they offer on premium.

Here in Russia there are no ads, basically free YT premium

The effort to shut down adblockers is only successful when used in conjunction with the Google Browser. I use ghostery on Firefox and have ZERO issues with ads.
