What if the Aurora Landed in the Void?

Ok, something SUPER important I didn't explain well in the vid - in this "theory", I'm assuming the Aurora crashes relatively close off the edge of the void and thus, most of the lifepods would still land relatively close to their current positions. The main reason for this is that if the ship lands far out, I'm pretty sure it's just game-over for everyone :)

The reason there’s so many reapers around the aurora is because it landed right on top of the hell hole, which they would use to drag sea dragons up and eat them.

Edit: I got it backwards, the sea dragons would hunt the reapers

Doesnt it crash on a volcanic crater cousing it to erupt which couses life and fauna to flourish

Hmmm... If think of it, then there will be no crash zone and leviathans would be in other places cuz of sound... Does that mean safe shallows, kelp forests and somewhere else will be more dangerous?

If he were off in the deep, the PDA would probably tell him what that continental earthquake was.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the PDA loses most of its data due to radiation right? So if radiation wasn't present near Ryley, he would have access to all blueprints.

BZ wouldn't happen because Allan would die. The game banks on you saving him last second, and if Altera does tier crap later than normal then that could've been something that saves below zero.

One sad fact everyone forgets is that the radition leaks would never ever be fixed meaning the radition will continue to harm the enviroment.

wait, the PDA loses its blueprints because the radiation from the ship, but there is no radiation because the ship in in the void! so riley could escape.

He forgot about how the ghost leviathans would probably eat most of the lifepods before Riley gets to them and probably eat his, too, so unless he speed runs to the crater, Riley’s just gonna be a ghost snack

if you hit the void the ship would have been repairable and would float, so as far as the actual game the only gameplay change would be ship exploration.

I want the third Subnautica to be entirely in the dark, like it’s in an underground area and the air is from small caves filled with oxygen producing moss, all creatures except for one Leviathan are bioluminescent, you have multiple in people in a small base in the safe zone who help you by developing blueprints and scanning the caves with remote cameras, they are not capable of leaving the base because they are just super weak, and you can find a way to go out of the caves and there’s a whole land zone with minimal resources but some important story stuff… And the goal is to open up the caves and help your team escape

as someone who has only played around an hour of below 0 and NONE of the original game and knows nothing about the series

the bodies of the prawn suits have to be found in the aurora so no more prawn \o/ you'd just kinda end up with a bunch of arms for it lol. and the game is still completable without it, you just need to find kyanite that isn't attached to a larger chunk

Cool vid. Some things I also thought were worth noting.

1: the captains assistant and many of the crew members would be safe. The reapers surrounding the crash zone would likely not be there, and from what the PDAs tell us, one lifepod was taken out and was killed by a reaper, and the captains assistant as well as the lady who landed in the blood kelp zone were also killed by the crash zone reaper after they decided to go to the aurora after no one met up on the randesvous point (the floating island). Likely, Rylee would have been able to acquire a sea moth and further, likely have been able to meet about 3 people on the island in order to survive together. They likely would have had a better time on the planet, however, their inability to access the aurora would mean that they almost 100% couldn’t get to the sea emperor to cure kharaar (and thus would die from infection). Also, I’m pretty sure Marguerite is from the first game, and she was now in below zero. Law suggests that she stayed afloat on a leviathans back in the void in order to float over to the arctic area (which is badass) but her ability to have been in below zero would have been up to question, and the kharars impact may have stopped below zero from happening as a whole.
