Ответить❤❤❤ Incredible! Love love love! ❤❤❤
Ответитьdid anyone else notice corbin bleu behind james during the rapping part???
ОтветитьBeautiful, James.
ОтветитьI watch this clip so often when I need a pick me up. I adore James corden and this is just a cherry on top.
ОтветитьWhy’s Lydia deetz Holding her self Phone?
ОтветитьNice, but I still think NPH was better.
ОтветитьSo proud of James !!! A fello Brit ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ответитьthe worst oppening in years...
ОтветитьStill dont know why he quite and went back to UK. I miss him
ОтветитьHe is absolutely brilliant!
ОтветитьWonderful 👍
ОтветитьI see what you did there. He told them to play his queue, but instead they played his cue.
Ответитьthese are real performers. They're worth every penny. He's great!!
ОтветитьHe is unbelievable! What a fantastic performance!
ОтветитьCan’t tell how much you’ll be missed in US.
Ответитьnah
ОтветитьInteresting how much he was appreciated when he did this... fast forward, a couple of exaggerated stories and bashing him became a trend.. to the point he got a horrible rep, which I do not think he deserved. A shame.
ОтветитьThey really miss Neal Patrick Harris
ОтветитьHmm.....sorry, no comparison to Neil Patrick Harris opening 2013...just saying
ОтветитьFlipping fantastic !
ОтветитьJames cordon he is so telnet I love this so much them are the will be the greatest broadway musical it amazing
Ответить2019 broadway was a fever dream
ОтветитьHe is fabulous!!!!
ОтветитьPlease, host again
ОтветитьYes, I believe the stories of how difficult or rude he could be or has been to people BUT I think he is incredibly talented and can do practically anything. It's clear he puts all he has into whatever he does. I'm talking about Mr. Corden of course.
ОтветитьOkay but I just watched the Try Guys episodes where they audition for Beetlejuice and now Alex Brightman is the only person I can focus on 😅
ОтветитьThis was amazing saw it on tv great job James
ОтветитьWell I’ve never managed to put words to how a live show differs from a recorded one but
Energy flowing between the performers and the audience
Consistent focus on the moment
Feeling alive
That about covers it
Broadway prime lol
ОтветитьThis is an incredibly well written song. Can anyone tell me who wrote it? Struggling to find out
ОтветитьThere is the audience, here's the stage. Broadway is about what's in-between.... WHAT A LINE ❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьI could have 20 years to learn it, yet I would still not learn the lyrics to that song James did a phenomenal job.
ОтветитьAww the welling up at the end because of the standing ovation. This is just amazing. Couldn't have been more happier for him. "BRIAN? WHERE ARE YOU GOING??"🤣
ОтветитьDisney Plus has overwritten some of these statements.
ОтветитьHis inner child came out at the standing ovation with that little giggle signifying how thankful he is to have that moment and how it has always been his dream as a little boy to be where he is now, truly a blessing. I'm glad such a kind hearted and humble soul like you was given all these amazing opportunities in life and for you to continue living the dream.
ОтветитьThis is right before Broadway closed for 2 years basically. 😢😢😢
ОтветитьThis seems like it's going to be an unpopular opinion....but as good as this was, it comes nowhere near Neil Patrick Harris's opening in 2013. I'm not trying to put James Corden down by any means and like and respect him, but this doesn't have the same wow factor and I think Neil's opening is extremely hard to top. I think his was one of the all time best in the last 10 years. Props to JC for doing a great job with this though. Whenever I watch openings now, I always compare it to see if it will top NPH in 2013.
ОтветитьThe ironic thing is we’re all watching this on TV
ОтветитьIt’s kinda ironic this is about live theater but the year after this everything went remote haha
ОтветитьJames reminds me constantly of why my previous relationships didn't work, I could never move in life with men that didn't love musicals. My energy was stuck and stagnant, no singing, no dancing, no outlet for all the pent up creative energy, other than writing the words that I wasn't able to express through song and dance. Thank you, James, for helping me to find my smile within and reminding me to never stop the show inside my heart.
ОтветитьYo this was the BEST opening EVER
ОтветитьNot only was the performance awesome, but equally awesome was whoever (singular or plural) wrote the lyrics to the introduction musical.
James Corden may be exhausted at the end of the introduction song from singing it, but it is exhausting from listening to the beauty and poetry and wisdom of the words.
I have never been to New York and likely never will. Thank you CBS for making this available so I know what I have been missing.
Broadway’s alive
brings out the cast of the show about death
He deserves all the ovations
ОтветитьI watched this after watching NPH's opening in 2013 and uh... I dunno. I feel like NPH's was several levels better
