God Bless You and Your Family. I can't tell you the hours spent trying to fix this. Microsoft 365 could not help and you would think they would have this fix of yours in their information base. The last part where you put the new pass into the little pop up did not work for me. I went to File, Account Settings, Update Password. It took several times as that little pop up asking for password kept blocking the process. If you can cancel out of that and quickly put in the new pass before it comes up again it will work. Now I have over 1500 emails to file but that is a small price to pay for having this fixed. I would love to send you some money out of gratitude if there is a way we can arrange it. Finally solved my problem after months ...

Worked fine on first Gmail account. However it does not work on all my other Gmail accounts. I generated a key for each Gmail account. should you use one key for all accounts of different key for each account. Different key for each account does not work.
