This is just condoning greenwashing and lying to the public. They all lie about the conditions those other animals are in. Unless you visit the diseased hell holes in which those other animals are enslaved in, you won't know where their body parts in packets come from 🤢🤮
Those places are brutal hell holes, and they lie to the often compassionate public, to get them to turn a blind eye to the vile torture of sentient animals similar to dogs. They don't care one bit about you, or anyone you care about, so it's worth not letting them lie to you and make an INFORMED choice.

There are studies that say pigs are literally as intelligent as 6 year old kids.

I think all animals deserve decent welfare if they're going to be eaten.

Personally, I cut back a lot on meat.

I feel like if we eat this food we should at the very least have to see the process for ourselves. Obviously these are two very different things and in no way comparable, but the fact that very few of us have seen the suffering in these places gives off Hitler vibes (Hitler didn't ever go see the suffering in his concentration camps.)

Animal welfare would be a much more important issue if media were able to show uncensored pictures/videos of what goes on and people actually just visited these places.

I'm not against painlessly and ethically killing an animal for food, but I am 100% against torture and cruelty of an animal before it is slaughtered. The quality of livestock needs to be improved

I live down under and our SPCA is also called RSPCA, and my family is very careful about what they're buying, so free-range eggs and locally sourced meats. Apparently, factory-farmed meat isn't as healthy and doesn't taste as good.

If there's one point which everyone can be agreed on, it's that factory farms are horrible compared to these conditions. The overall quality of the meat is worse and the animals suffer way more.

I don't think I'll ever become vegan, but I'll definitely make sure to buy products with pasture, organic or RSPCA logos on it from now on. Hopefully sometime in the future factory farms will be shut down for good because they're just cruel, low quality mass production.
