After 6 years (daily use for approx 5 hrs on average) my Go gave up the Ghost. Go it is again it seems. Then again, maybe the charger kicked the bucket, only way to tell is next week.

iris is clearly better for light output put the actual unit is ugly as hell. the ringed iris look is also ugly.

I have a few Gos but never owned an Iris. From what I see in this video I know I prefer the Go over the Iris. I really like how small and bright the Go is.

The Iris is too big.

Go version is not practical for living room without adapter, believe me after few times charging u will be fed up with it and just want to leave it all time in power.

What about controlling via the app? What about the Philips Bloom? What about the Philips Aura?

How does the Hue Go differ from the Hue Bloom? They look very similar.

I have both. Hue Go any day of the week. Hue Iris is a clumsy piece of plastic and the led is way better in the Go. Hue Go also have a inbuilt battery so you can bring the light anywhere and simulate a cool cozy candle-like effect. No matter where I place my Iris lights they feel dumb and clumsy.

Is the Go bright enough to use as a bedroom lamp? Also can you use it as a morning wake up light, so it gradually brightens?

So that had no information...
Which one produces more light?
How much more light?
Side by side comparison?
How do they do in a big room?
Small room?
Outside.

Basically you told me everything the box would....

Looks like you can’t actively use the Go AND charge it while allowing it to sit flush at the intended angle...is that correct? If so that’s kind of lame.

The Iris looks like Symmetra`s turrets in the game Overwatch :)

Ive got the original philips living colour one 1st and 2nd gen that came out and still working good 10 years on! I like the remote control on mine as its a seperate remote and you hover your finger over the rainbow to change colours on the remote.

Today picked up both the iris and the go. I think the go is rubbish compared to the iris. Yes the go is portable but thats about it, colour is better on the iris and with the go where the power port is placed is stupid and it interferes with how the light sits on a table if you want it plugged in all the time. So the go is going back for a refund.
