ОтветитьDefinitely some good points. I would like to add though, musicians used to WANT to play shows. Performing in front of people is what it's all about. Relying on being a "bedroom musician" is also a gamble.
ОтветитьNot sure if anyone can help me, but copyrighted samples in my songs get blocked automatically from uploading by my distributor. How do I fix this? Maybe another distributor? I use onerpm and routenote.
ОтветитьI’m thinking that I was gonna get some jewels on how to clear a sample. And then the history of black ppl and hip hop started 😅
ОтветитьIf the song is big enough to get issues with sampling then you are already getting big. But if your gonna sample better make it semitones off with the pitch sped up or slowed down a good bit.
Also probably sample more obscure tracks.
my question is the following: can you make money off an uncleared sample beat if you make it 100% clear it's up to the artist to clear the sample? wouldn't the label come for you as a producer bc you haven't cleared the sample?
ОтветитьI'm glad i watched this video fr.
Ответитьreally fascinating....just change the samples enough so they are not recognizeable...?!
Ответить$13 a month? Stop capn bruh, I make anywhere from 200-300 a month in streams and I aint no where near known as you.
ОтветитьI live in the hip-hop building sedgwick baby
Ответить🔥🔥🗣️🗣️

Ответитьyou have an abrasive way of speaking like Ice Cube lol
Ответитьcool man when u said that 12 streams ishh i felt that hahahah CHECK OUT "L1L ACC3NT" HELP ME GET 13 HAHAH
ОтветитьSome of y’all might have to get coked up 😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьGotta get that boom boom boom
ОтветитьDid u just say three fans..... to dame funny
ОтветитьDid we do the passive income video?
Ответить60k a month wow that's nothing in the music world drake make a million a show 🤷🏾♂️
Ответить"Sampling don't Pay" ...FAXXXXXXXXX!!!
ОтветитьAnyone that can answer my question?
If I release a song include a sample pack I bought do I need to contact the artist first? Even tho he sold it on his website? Appreciate all replies.
Hip Hop started in Bronxdale 1968 with the Black Spades and Disco King Mario. First Hip Hop song is "Here Comes the Judge" with Maurice White from Earth Wind and Fire on the drums for the break beat at the beginning of the songs. Black Spades started break dancing to this song.
ОтветитьOkay , I'm paying attention now.
Ответитьakademiks been on it too lately, him & tpain doing/hosting a show together would be very informative
ОтветитьOmg.
ОтветитьThanks bro needed that .
Ответить💪🏿💪🏿
ОтветитьU can tell TPain dont own any of his masters or publishing
ОтветитьSuper helpful video, more like this would be great!
ОтветитьTracklib is bridging the gap slowly
ОтветитьI need that passive income video for sure !
ОтветитьSo what’s gonna happen if your song gets really big and popular.. will they come after you for using that sample?
ОтветитьThis was such bait click
ОтветитьI thought i was watching tpain who tf is you? Click baitin az nikka
ОтветитьBruh some random dude stepping in the middle to explain what T-Pain means was whack af. That intro with the liking and shit, I'm already here to watch the video, ain't gotta remind me. Also, passive vs active income, when you make $60k a night touring, that's plenty of money to work for you while you sleep. I dunno what is the video bro.
"You might have to get drunk, some of y'all might have to get coked up." Aight dude hahaha that sounds whack as fuuuuuuck. Where's the rest of the TPain clip?!
Not actually this mad, but a little intro about who tf you are stepping over tpain probably would have helped.
Gotta do that Passive income video!
ОтветитьPassive income can’t be slept on. Him giving away 100%- eventually you can’t tour in perpetuity.. I’m sure he’s eating from passive income he’s generated and earned. I don’t agree entirely with him in that.
ОтветитьWhen I suggest live gigs to the young heads they say they aren't interested in it.
ОтветитьWhat is TubeBuddy?
ОтветитьLadies and gentlemen, T-Pain’s master class
Ответить💎 gems
ОтветитьFor the record, it's "THE Bronx" NY... not "Bronx" NY. Great info, tho!
ОтветитьYou are impressive
ОтветитьHow many songs is good to do in one show? Not too many, but enough to be a good show ?
ОтветитьI MusicLuv It! Keep Doin Whacha do my brotha... The SC.
ОтветитьYep, it's not that big of deal especially when you don't own the masters to your songs - now when you own the masters, you better care then! That's how Sir-Mix-A-Lot has made over 100 million with I Like Big Butts. Winning.
Ответитьfirst, i definitely disagreed when he said he didnt care about his ownership but i think he believes he’s making more which is why he thinks active > passive in this situation. he said something about $13/month but of course he was exaggerating. also if you are repurposing your content, it would probably gain more attention & revenue. is that why you mentioned that part?
