Is Cyberpunk 2077 worth it for the PS4 Pro?

$9.99 is a godlike price, that's about £7-8 in the UK right now... After playing Control, I just pulled the trigger on Alan Wake Remarted £20 for the holiday which I cant wait to get into... Have you played Control?

I'm going to play it on my ps4 pro because I just found out it is set where I live in Morro Bay. I never knew that until a few days ago and I am super curious as I am also a huge fan of bladerunner 2049 so my mind is going to be blown seeing the place I live reimagined in a cyberpunk future.

I think when it came to this game, my experience was favorable solely on the fact I installed an SSD years ago. There were frame rate issues in a few places, but I felt that was the reason why I probably had a better time than others.

I love this game but it’s still broken, more than ever in fact. Objects not spawning in quests and a dialogue audio bug on SX which is a game breaker for me. All I hear is V, I can’t even hear Johnny. I’ve given up for now until the next gen release and let’s hope it’ll be playable.

I'm playing Cyberpunk through at the moment and it's a brilliant game now after some things were sorted out. I'm playing on PS5 though and it's very smooth on there .

For me the most annoying problem with the game for the ps4 is the audio bug. Sometimes conversations skip in cinematics or in phone calls.

I got it from Walmart for 20 dollars for PS4 pro and I have not had any issues with this game I have logged alot of hours since it is a awesome game I own 126 games and this is probably the best open world game I have played to date no crashes no dialogue issues no bugs as to date it is running like a good game

Does the PS4 digital download version of the game run better or worse than the CD disk?

Runs amazing on my PS4 pro, the graphics are amazing, and it's running ridiculously smooth now. Feels like a whole new game, and I'm quite impressed at how much better it feels now.

I think I should mention, I play on a 50" HDR Samsung TV, so the auto motion plus the dynamic gaming setting on the TV, is making a big difference as well

Playing on the PS4 Pro at the moment, quit playing at launch.. came back to it to take a break from post-game Elden Ring and it was like playing a completely different game, i just wandered around a bit on foot just to take in the atmosphere and didn't realize i had been walking around the map for 4 hours, good shit, still kinda buggy when you get into vehicles and drive too fast though, but major improvement, worth playing! :D

I really don't understand why people feel the need to make excuses for these companies that make millions and billions off of us. Pointing out that the PS4 was released in 2013 means nothing when Cyberpunk 2077 went into development in 2012. This game was meant to be a base PS4-compatible title from the start. Take a game like Mafia 3 which runs poorly on base Xbox One and PS4 but was released in 2015 before Xbox One S or PS4 Pro even launched. This was Lazy development, period. We defend these companies as if they're doing us a favor. NEWS FLASH we purchase these games. We make them billions and all we ask is that the games work on these $300 to $600 boxes they make us buy to play them.

This game went into development before the base PS4 even launched and didn't release until nearly the end of that console cycle and it still ran like dog crap on even the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X and those consoles launched in 2016 and 2017 respectively. So no asking for a game that took almost 9 years to develop to run on a console you only purchased 3 or 4 years ago is not too much to ask.

I'm assuming that many of the glitches probably happen due to the HDD... SSD is probably much better and I've heard using an SSD will solve lots of the issues. Anyone using an SSD and playing Cyberpunk 2077 with your PS4/PS4Pro? Does it seem to help in your opinion?? I am thinking of getting a Samsung SSD to put in my PS4Pro.
